Louie Hits Elite Total Again...at 63 Yrs Old

King Louie got back on the platform, dropping down to the 220 class this time for the first time in 10 years, and posted an 1850 total. 730, 450, 670. I’m pretty sure his first elite total was in 19 fucking 68. So that’s 41 years as an elite lifter.

Legend is the word that comes to mind…

Hail to the King baby.

Crazy, is there a vid of this somewhere?

Impressive!

Dude’s an absolute monster.

He’s also an extremely nice guy.

I got to see that this last weekend. Louie’s the real deal.

wikepedia says he first totalled elite in february 1973, still damn impressive. louie is an icon of the sport and his legacy will live on long after he is gone (which probably wont be anytime soon.)

There has gotta be a video somewhere of this.

Checking on the videos. AJ Roberts says he’s got some video that he’ll put up sometime this week. Dunno if there’s anything up yet.

for prob the first time in my life, youtube has failed me.

The man lives and breathes Powerlifting and has demonstrated a personal durability and persistence that’s tough to match.

Very excellent.
