We went to Hilton head…worked out at a place called xp fitness. It was a neat place and had 24hr access. They were very accommodating. 
Last night we had a solid bench session.
Tonight we hit singles on Deads. I worked up to a 495 single. Maybe more maybe not. Who knows. I think I had more 10-20 for sure possibly more.
Anyway, training is going well.

End of July stuff
Beginning of phase 2
Bench-
175x 15, 12, 12, 10 rp 3.
Then fluff for high volume.
At some point mid sets I remembered doing this program and getting pinned under 165 doing sets of 3-5 some two years ago. Now I’m doing the same weights for sets of 12-15. I’ll take that as a win. It’s a marathon not a sprint even for old timers entering the game late…
On the road to a 315 bench.
Once I hit my goal of a 315 bench I may ride off into the sunset

School starts this week where I live. I’m guessing he’s in the same boat. And if he’s coaching football then he has that going on, too. It’s a busy time of year for teachers.

It’s as busy and stressful as you make it, some teachers decide to make shit hard for themselves, shitty unengaged leadership makes a difference too though. Parents that think they know everything about education, when they’re unemployed or have no link to education make the job more difficult than it should and take up a lot of air time that could be spent doing something useful.
Can’t complain though, good pay, good conditions, lots of holidays. Having year to year contracts sucks balls though.

Dang. My wife works for a big district and they have a union. Once you’re in, it’s tough to get rid of you - even if you deserve it.

Yeah we have a statewide union, they’re in a shit fight with the Gov at the moment over funding for special needs, job security and a bunch of other stuff. As usual, the state Gov wants to limit and cut everything for education and health
