Loss of Appetite Occurring...

Some stats:
age 21
6’1-6’2
210-215 lbs

been working out since i was 16 or so. actually ‘training’ for a few months. i use to drink a lot and never really set goals in the weight room. now i drink very rarely and have lots of goals.

After reading the wealth of information on T-Nation I quit being a bitch. Last November I was the same 186-190 lbs i had been for roughly 2 years of not knowing what i was doing in the gym/kitchen. Started eating whole pizzas, foot long subs, etc etc. Now I weigh 210-215 lbs. I’m the ‘fattest’ ive ever been at a 36 inch waist but I dont look fat (in my opinion…and id prefer not to post pics and get reamed out for at least a few months after i keep eating).

TREND:

I’ve been steadily gaining weight and strength for weeks now.

As of recently my appetite has been up and down. For the past 3-4 weeks ive noticed a trend though.

Deadlift or front squat (when i front squat i also rack pull), hit a PR of 5-10 lbs. Eat a pizza around 7:00 pm and whatever else i can get my hands on until i go to sleep around 11-12.

Next morning I wake up with a sub-par appetite. I eat breakfast but don’t feel hungry…or full for that matter. It’s like I have no feeling of hunger or satiety but I still manage to eat most of my meals. Usually less than I should (I feel like).

About 3 weeks ago I got sick on the 2-3rd day after deadlifting. 2 weeks ago I thought I was getting sick so i bought that Zycam shit (suprisingly i think it worked?). my appetite seems to be affected for days.

I just deadlifted yesterday and the trend seems to be starting again. Am I hitting it too hard?

My split isn’t set in stone. I squat or deadlift every 4-7 days when I’m not sore and feeling strong again. I work in other lifts around this. Direct delt work, pullups, presses, etc. I stick to the complex moves for the most part and hit a couple isolation exercises a week, particularly for arms. I may lift 2 consecutive days but never 3 in a row. I lift 3-4 times a week. I keep volume approx the same… I shoot for a 25-30 reps on my main movement and similar elsewhere. \

I might just be over reacting but it throws me in a mega funk. Sorry for the long post, I know 3% of you will actually read it. i posted the important info between the dashed lines.
