Chalk is an amazing substance I must admit…I only pulled my personal PR when I started using it…it did kinda tear the hell outta my hands, but it was worth it for the PR I will never again DL heavy without the stuff…
Also, I do shrugs as heavy as I can with no chalk, no straps, both hands palms facing in. I can’t shrug as much as if I had an alternating grip, but it has evenly strengthened my grip since I started doing it.
