you need to see what u have built running not only changes bodyfat levels it gets rid of any and all excess weight to make the run easier. Take from me i spent four years in marine core infantry. I have ran up to ten miles in a single run.

find a good balance run but not too much to where you are running 7.0 on the tread.

You spelled Corps incorrectly, and you call yourself a devil-dog? How disgraceful.
and they said marines are smart too!

I know this post is a little late, and I really don’t mean to offend…but…when I first saw that picture I thought I was looking at a big fat butch lesbian…at least you got me laughing. Oh man!

You look reasonably thick from what I can see. But as previously stated, get a new pic. I’d recommend 20 mins of sprints and not isolating each body part. Then you will not lose as much muscle when cutting weight. Also BCAA’s and creatine will help preserve muscle when cutting.

Note: You rated yourself a ten and “didn’t know what it was asking”!? It’s rate my physique, you don’t need to lie.

Horrible pic, post some pics where we can see something, take the tanktop off and get some lighting. Post some before pics too so we can see the progress. Anyways for losing fat try some circuit training, high rep sets - supersets with minimal to no downtime to keep your HR up. You can really tone up as well as define your muscles to get a more " Hard Look "

Please let me know some good cutting workouts…thanks!
So you apparently listened to the “gurus” who told you that you had to bulk to gain muscle mass, now you’re asking for advice on how to get rid of the “bulk.”

Not only am I a firm believer in the notion that muscle hypertrophy is possible while maintaining leanness, or even while cutting, but I’ve proven it in my own life. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.

Don’t get fat, and you won’t have much to lose. Find a comfortable bf percentage, like 10%, and maintain it while putting of lean muscle. If you find that you’re gaining a little fat, just make adjustments to your diet, “cardio,” or both, accordingly.

Disclaimer:

1). I’m not talking about being in peak condition all of the time. By all means “cycle.” But set a comfortable high-limit bf percentage, and stay there. So, if you maintain 10% bf, you can cut to 6 or 8%, if you get the notion to.

2). Although, I KNOW that it is possible to gain muscle mass without packing on xtra fat, I CANNOT prove that you can’t pack on MORE MUSCLE MASS by bulking. I can only speak from my own personal experience. BUT I have found no appreciable difference. I have made incredible gains at 7-8% bf, and good gains, now, 20 years later, at around 10%bf.

Here is what Charles Poliquin says on the subject:

"Advantages to a low-carb approach: It promotes muscle gains while reducing fat stores.

I’m not a believer in the bulk-up/get lean approach in hypertrophy training. For 75% of the population, I strongly believe that if you want to gain lean body mass while losing fat, the low-carb approach will do it better than anything, especially if you’re taking supplements that enhance insulin sensitivity."

KISS… Keep it simple stoopid. Keep your workouts hard and intense like they’ve been. Do low to moderate cardio for 30 to 45 minutes in the morning or after a workout when your glycogen stores are at there lowest and your body will rely your fat storages for energy. Lastly and most important clean up your diet.

The muscle is under there but to lose the fat and keep your gains you need to eat clean and consistent. Post a typical diet so we can see what you’ve been shoveling in.
