I’ve been a reader for some time, decided this would be the best place to come for help.
I am a personal trainer at 1 on 1 studio in CT, and needless to say most of our clients are middle age housewives.
We have some pretty good gear in the gym, but we only have a 5-100 dumbbell set.
The owner of the gym and I recently started stepping up our training (I’m being pressured to join a powerlifting meet for motivation, and am deeply considering it), and while the 5-100 does it for our clients, we are in need of something a little heavier and I finally convinced him to dish out for heavy dumbbells.
We’ve been casually searching for 150, or 200 lb dumbbells, and turned up only a few results. The local store that we bought alot of our equipment from only carries up to 100 as well. I checked elitefts.com, and will call when we get the time for a quote, but until then do you guys know of any sites that carry heavy dumbbells?
I’d imagine money isn’t the biggest issue, it’s just finding them.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
