That’s a great video. I did something similar a few years ago but it involved pulling kids on toboggans for time. If you’re ever interested in competing, there’s a lot of strong lifters in the east. Maybe because there’s fuck all to do there but lift and walk in the snow with dumb bells
Seriously, I think you’d have fun.
Good ass shot.
Thanks for the compliments ouroboro_s. Not sure if this conditioning stuff will be a regular thing. I suppose it should since it sucked.
All this competition talk. I’ve got a long way to go before I would be comfortable but I guess we’ll see.
Squats + (5 rep day)
95 x 5
140 x 5
190 x 5
235 x 5
285 x 5
350 x 5…PR +4 reps at this weight compared to 2 weeks ago. Fingers crossed this trend continues. Annnnd, video fail. Card was full.
330 x 3…went for 5 but I was done.
RDLs (can’t remember the last time I did these)
235 x 5
330 x 5,5,5…felt a lot of muscle tension. I need to foam roll and stretch my ass.
Planks
235 x 1 minute…used a barbell on my back. McGyver’d a setup in the rack. Vid but it is lame so I won’t bother.

You have really nice form on damn near everything.
Planks with a 235-lb. barbell on your back? Ummm . . . I’d like to see the vid.
Well, thank you so much for saying that. The squats felt good and I was a bit pissed that I didn’t vid them.
Okey dokey. As you can see this is a bit awkward. But, it didn’t shift around too much. I’m up on my toes. My ass is a little high but it keeps my back flat. Otherwise the bar rolled down my back. it’s lightly touching on the near rail but no weight is being supported.
I suppose, if I was going to do this on a regular basis, I could make a bar holder out of wood that would cradle the bar and keep it from rolling & shifting.
