Dude you look cold as hell. Great job lifting in a challenging environment.
That must be why the ladies love you.
It was a little brisk. I actually don’t mind it but I do plan on putting some plywood down on the concrete floor. It will, however, get much colder here soon so that will be a challenge unless I get some heat in there.
Deads
135 x 3
185 x 3
225 x 3
275 x 3
315 x 3
365 x 3
385 x 1…felt quad twinge near lock out. Nothing serious. Crappy leg drive.
405 x 4…I would have liked more but I was done after 4
365 x 4
Wide grip pullups
10, 9…had to go. Daughter having a play date.
Hips coming up a bit last couple reps. Slight twinge. That 5th rep was NOT moving, lol. If I believe the numbers on the plates from the previous owner (they are a bit heavy) then I suppose this is actually 410 x 4 for a PR (I’ll take 'em when I can)

seriously your on my super yummy ass list. love watching you lift. glad you come around.
Ha. Funny you should say that. I find it helps mentally if I think of the bar as prey.
And, I was just about to post “seriously your on my super yummy ass list. love watching you lift. glad you come around” in YOUR log. That is weird that we were thinking the same thing.
I like the look of the juggernaut gym. Cold, dank, dilapidated. I would think it puts you in the animalistic mode?
Dl’s look strong.
& you are doing yourself a huge disservice by not watching Desperado. In this thread & this thread only will I admit my man crush on Banderas. Not only was he great in this flick, but how can you not love him as Puss in Shrek.

Oh yeah, Salma’s pretty sexy too.
Thanks.
Just watched my vid. Fuck I’m a heavy breather, lol.
Yeah, Banderas is pretty…I mean good…a pretty good actor. With 2 kids under 10, I have seen a lot of Shrek. Still not tired of it.

This.

And this.
I think it bears repeating, I’m very glad you got your camera working. You’re um, quite sturdy sir. Nice DLs.

Well, you ladies are too kind. Thanks for the encouragement…and your serious easy-on-the-eyes factor, of course.
Bench Day…mostly trying to get my setup organized
pin height isn’t quite right (too high or too low) so I’ll adjust the bench height with some plywood…easy
fiddled around with bench position relative to bar hooks
135 x 3
155 x 3
185 x 3
205 x 3…I’ve done 5. These plates do feel heavier than the ones at the gym and my shoulders were a bit fried from two days ago. And my vagina has been itchy lately so that was distracting.
Incline BB…I can’t remember the last time I did these. Similar to BB, bench position needs some tweaking so that my liftoff isn’t too far back. Lower support on the rack is in the way.
135 x 8,8,8
Rear delt stuff…light weight, high reps.
And, most importantly I cobbled together some stereo gear that has been gathering dust and got it set up.
First song, played way too loud, Pearl Jam - Even Flow. Yes the air guitar was epic, lol.
