Look Strong, Be Strong

Nice shrugs, not sure my hands would hold 405 for shrugs…

Chalk is my friend. I should probably use more but I try not to make too much mess. Gym isn’t particularly chalk friendly.

Finally, someone who really deloads! Nice chins.

I have to take a real break every fourth week. Recovery is a real issue for me.

I’m with Joe chalk no chalk I couldnt hold 405 or 315 for 18!!! that is nasty Git…nice work

Thanks Monsieur Goat. I decided a couple of months ago not to use straps for anything and my grip has been improving. Funny how that works.

Time for some music. From my southern roots, lol

Or maybe I have some black in my ancestry

OMG…she is the cutest thing ever. Gold for Canada! She made that lift look easy.

Yes, adorable. I’ll be a good snatcher in my next life.

That was really amazing. Very cute and VERY strong!

it’s a frenchie thing

way to represent!

Is that specific to squats? I’ve been pretty much feeling like that all the time lately.

It’s nice when you feel that strong isn’t it?

Sometimes for squats and deads I can make myself go there. Basically, I’m pissed off that such light weights feel so heavy. But there is no way they are going to beat me.

That particular morning it was the cumulative effect of work stress and home “issues”. Always a good combination for a solid training session. Or I have perimenopause.

I’m curious to see how my training changes when I have the power rack set up at home in the out building and I don’t need to be polite because of the commercial gym. I may end up being the crazy neighbor that seems to yell a lot when he is by himself in the shed. Maybe I could train at night and illuminate the building with flickering red lights, crank Goatwhore or Cephalic Carnage, swear a lot and make a lot of noise. Eh, I’m Canadian so probably not.

^I though that’s what they did to pass time out in Nova Scotia :stuck_out_tongue:
