Longest You've Gone w/o Stalling?

Just curious how many cycles/months people have gone making continuous progress, without changing anything in their setup.

Recently went 8 cycles.

Same, 8 months before mp and bp needed to reset for me.

15 months when I first started Powerlifting ! Then again, when you are thinner and weaker than an anorexic coked out supermodel on a diet you have no where to go but UP !

11 cycles…but I started really low, and did a ton of reps on the first few cycles.

I think this is why I had such a good experience, WAY better to start much lower than you think.

Smart way to start!

Ive never taken a lift through continued cycles until I have to reset (cant get a required rep) because I like working the range where theres room to operate for rep PRs (and jokers, even before Wendler put a name to em). I usually reset before I need to, or change the movement and start fresh, like doing front squats or close grip bench instead of the big 4.

Also surgery and a decision to drop 40 pounds played a part there.

Anyways, if I took my current bench cycles to where I had to reset, Id expect 10-12 more, and Im about 4 deep

That was about 4 years ago I think, I was lucky to read Jim’s log on EliteFTS and go some good info early.

I did 10 cycles on DL when I started cycle #1 DL TM=145kg (5+ = 122.5x13, 3+= 130x13,1+ =137.5x11)
last cycle (10) finished before reset, at DL TM = 162.5kg (5+= 162.5x7, 3+= 170x6, 1+=180x1!) decided the 180 x1 was more psychological than anything but reset anyway.

So far, I’m on my 6th cycle and no sign of any need for a reset yet (though I will admit I took a month off the program recently to train for a meet so it hasn’t been 6 straight cycles).
