Lol, I knew I wasn’t going to fail it. My previous max was 100lbs heavier than that. I was just testing the waters to see how my hip flexors were doing.

I saw a meet in January that has cash prizes so I’m pushing my training cycle back a month or so to compete there instead. This is an SPF meet also so I get to use knee wraps
I’ll finish out this week of heavy singles and then I’ll start another short taper cycle leading up to the comp on Jan 10th. With cash prizes on the line I’ll bet I get to see some impressive lifters and that I’ll get to walk away empty handed haha. This also gives me some extra time to get down to 308 which is nice. I’d rather make weight without a water cut.

I totally agree. I’ll watch a set of mine thinking it was a horrible grind, but then it wasn’t nearly as bad as i thought. I try to use the previous vid to gauge what my next attempt will be.
