Liver enzymes - ALT

Before starting new cycle I went to do Blood Work (ALT,Alkaline Phosphatase,Bilirubin,Creatinine,Total Cholesterol,Triglycerides,TSH,Free T3,Free T4,Cortisol,Total Testosterone,Free Testosterone,Estradiol).
Everything was fine except fucking ALT (51). I’m doing Blood Work every 6 months, last time just after cycle, all was good. What happened? Diet is good,
I do not drink, do not do drugs also. I’m confused.

That’s what I heard. But my doctor says it may be, but should be thoroughly examined. On Monday i have a detailed examination by a hematologist, then i will know with certainty.

Earlier I had problems with liver (fatty liver), i was overweight.
Four years ago i had 117kg, but i fixed diet 18 months ago and i dropped to 103 kg, then blood work was good. Now I have 96 kg and ALT has increased.
Confused as fuck.

If youre that worried, don’t hit the weights or drink or take any kind of medications and get retested in 5 days, guarantee it will be lower

These “liver enzyme” tests are such a bad indicator of liver health. Skeletal muscle and your heart release the same enzymes when there is “damage” done. I have been VERY high after a squat work out followed by a 3 hour wrestling and BJJ session.

Today I went to the doctor and I found out diagnosis, pancreas does not produce enough insulin. So that makes me potential diabetic(genetic sucks). I’m 100 percent healthy, my liver is clean as a newborn.
I have to watch what i eat, not to gain weight and to regularly workout.
My biggest question is whether i can take the test and test effect on diabetes.

Anyone knows something on this subject? Thankful in advance.

Have you tested glucose? How did your doc come to this conclusion

I did , glucose is little above the limit, but nothing critical. Problem is that my pancreas does not produce enough insulin and insulin function which is produced very poor.
Treatments for this is to eat a healthy balanced diet, lose weight if you are overweight (i am not) and to do some physical activity regularly.
Online I found a ton of studies on how testosterone is helping on diabetes.
