Elevated Liver Enzymes in Bloodwork After Intense Workout

Hoping someone more knowledgeable can chime in. In May i had my initial blood work for TRT. The results got me placed on TRT but my levels were all perfect. AST and ALT were low 30’s. I am on week 14 of TRT and had my second round of bloods done. Since getting on TRT my lifts have gone up dramatically and my body comp has completely changed. My workout intensity is the highest it has ever been and for the first time ever have started getting pretty heavy into the big compound movements.

I had my blood work done a week after i got back from a wedding at the beach. It was a party and for a week i enjoyed myself and drank way too much. I had great workouts the week i got back on Mon, Tue and Wed, and my blood draw was Thursday. I got the results back and my liver enzymes were now slightly above the normal. My AST was now 43 and ALT was now 50.
My biliruben was also up at the higher level of normal at 1.2. I have read that blood results can be skewed from heavy workouts. Has anyone else had any experience with this ? I have also increased my protein intake to about 250-300 grams a day. The doctor did not seemed at all concerned about this but i tend to get health anxiety pretty bad.

Do you have dark urine or a yellowish tint in the whites of your eyes? Keep an eye out for signs of jaundice

dex, my urine is the same as its always been. Varying shades of yellow to almost clear depending on my hydration. No yellowing anywhere.

Perfectly normal and to be expected given the circumstances.

ALT is more specific for liver damage than AST. Both can be elevated days after a strenuous workout.

Compare your latest bilirubin levels to previous lab results. If consistent then perfectly fine and it might be an indication of Gilberts disease. Yellowish coloration of your eyes start at levels of about 3.

Same thing happened to me during last blood work. Totally normal.

thank you guys ! I feel much better.
