Hey, I’ve been following Massive Eating for some time now, and I like the results. Unfortunately, my job description has changed (I’m in the military) and it doesn’t lend itself to taking 5 to eat 6 times over the course of my 14 hour duty shift. I’ve always been fond of the convenience of liquid meals, and I can certainly suck down a shake on watch, so what do you think about eating nearly half of one’s meals as liquid? Thanks for any thoughts, and have fun.
Dan, it’s no problem at all. I do so often, especially when traveling or on long bike ride expeditions. Hell, when I interviewed Dorian Yates a few weeks ago he told me that every other meal he consumes is a shake (one of his MRPs plus one scoop of protein). Just make certain to take in some fiber supplement at least once per day.
Been there, done that. I work as a bartender so I’m usually in the same boat. Three of my meals are usually a Grow shake, 2 sc. Advanced Protein/Udo’s, and Surge post-w. Luckily we have a cooler so I can bring other stuff too. I remember when I was a Body for Life cronie and I used to have NOTHING but bars and shakes. Ay-ay-ay. Just make sure you take some psyllium or guar gum when you’re consuming shakes (except post-workout).
