Liquid Clen

Gosh, You’re so sweet! I already diet! I’ve changed my diet years ago! I don’t eat bread or potatoes. I eat very low calories, no sugar. Brown rice, everything wheat, etc. I walk and jog on the treadmill at least 30 min. daily. I do a dumbbell routine. I’m doing everything right, but still not losing weight!

So how much fat and protein are you eating? It sounds to me like you are eating carbs all through the day and have no concern for your fat or protein intake.

Very low calories=very low metabolism=minimal fat loss. If you want to cut the fat you still need a fair amount of calories. Drop the carbs, up the fats, up the protein and the fat will come off

Sorry if I came off harsh, but you aren’t doing everything right or you would be losing weight, it Really is that simple. Turning to clen is just compounding the problem b/c you want to use it as a quick fix and you will learn nothing.

Those of us who use steroids and cutting agents already know how to effectively build muscle or strip fat. We use these chemicals just to make our efforts produce better and faster results.

Sorry, but you obviously do not know how to lose fat, so taking clen won’t do a damn thing. You just want a shortcut to bypass your lack of knowledge on diet/training. You will probably lose a few pounds then rebound back up once you’re off.

Actually I’ve already lost 2 inches off of my stomach and lost 13 lbs. I’m working very hard and am very proud of myself. My problem is not what I eat. It’s not eating enough. I’m never hungry! I have to force myself to eat! I look like I eat the kitchen sink, but I don’t. I rip the skin off of all chicken. I eat steamed veggies and fruits for snack. If, I do ever get a craving for something sweet, I eat a 1/2 grapefruit. It takes that sweet craving away. You were harsh, but I chalk that up to your testosterone! LOL When I do eat, I try to make sure that I eat a lot of protien source foods. NO FRIED FOODS!!! It’s not like I’m not trying. I’m just not a book!

I am a female, but I don’t know everything! I’m sure as heck not a lazy couch potato! Until I stopped working last year (husband made me quit), I cared for the elderly and disabled in their home. I lifted 150lb. - 375lb. people all by myself several times daily! Dead weight isn’t an easy task. I’m not making excuses. I just need help. I don’t get the encouragement or help at home. My husband is a Personal Trainer, but works from 5am to 9pm. He’s extremely wore out when he gets home. He deals with this daily. I want our family time to be about family, not his work! So, I’m asking very nicely for a little help.

You said You’ve already used clen, t-4 and ephedrine. If you want to continue using it even though we don’t think it’s a good idea than go for it. What you are saying just isn’t adding up though.

I have a friend I helped diet down. He had his diet together pretty well, and then did clen for two 2 week cycles and lost almost 30 lbs while retaining most of his strength and LBM. If you have been using various cutting agents/stimulants and you still aren’t seeing the results you want even though you say your diet is perfect, I really don’t know what else to tell you.

Tell your husband to stop being an asshole and help you! lol. You’d think that if your spouse is in need you would want to help them, but I guess he is different? I understand he is tired, but just ask him. If he’s a trainer worth his salt, he can supply the answers you are looking for.

I don’t mean to sound like my diet is perfect! I’m sure that I’m doing a lot of things wrong. I don’t want to take the Clen, if it’s not what I need. The point that I’m trying to get acrossed is that I’m trying. My biggest problem is never being hungry or feeling the need to eat. When I do eat, it is extremely healthy. I’m not get the proper calorie intake a day. How can I train myself to eat more? Is there a protien powder that would help substitute some of the meals I shoud be eating? Knowing that I’ve taken the Clen tabs, T-4 made me ill, ephedrine is not healthy, I’m never hungry, but I eat healthy when I do eat. I’m on the treadmill every day for at least 30 minutes a day (sometimes twice a day), I do a dumbbell routine at least three times a week. Knowing all of this, what do you suggest?

I love my husband, but he’s an azzhole most of the time. He doesn’t have time to help me. He’s preparing for a show, when he’s not training other people. He has two girls that are going to compete and he’s their sponsor. Selfishness is a mighty ugly word that I love to throw at him daily! If I ask a question, he tells me I already know the answer, but I don’t! I didn’t study to earn my Master’s like he did! He tells me that he sees a big difference in me. That I’m doing great! I need more than a few kind words. Anyway, Thanks for your help!

Post your diet. We’ll try to make suggestions.

Yes there are protein powders for that. You can get just pure chocolate whey and its like 180 cals and 30+g of protein per serving, I use stuff like that when I diet if I need extra cals or protein.

Like Dynamo said, just post your diet for us. That’s the easiest way to see what is wrong.

Also, I just noticed you said your husband is preparing for a show. When he is dieting down have you considered eating the same things he is but smaller portions. That would seem like a logical thing to do. I judged you a little to harshly sorry. I see now that you are determined and are willing to put forth the effort but just need a shove in the right direction.

P.S. I don’t mean this to sound like the sex and the male animal forum here but this guy seems like a jerk. He has time for himself, has time to “sponsor two girls” but has no time to help you. If I didn’t know better I’d say he’s cheating.

This works for some and not for others…

Check it out, it certainly works if you have the will power to do it IMO.

I know for a fact that Boehringer makes clen in syrup form its labeled at .75mcg’s/ml. I used an insulin or TB. syringe where I could measure out .1 ml .2 ml and so on, 1/3 of a ml is equal to .25 mcg’s. So if my math is right 1 cc spread out through the day is equal to .75 mcg’s a day

I do see one problem that I’m having. I don’t know anything about good fat. I cook with NO OIL or BUTTER!

I just started eating a bit different this week, so I’ll give you everything that I had yesterday! I am forcing myself to eat more, but it’s not easy! As I said before I’m never hungry!

7:15 am Slim Fast high protien (30 min
before workout)
workout 30 min. on treadmill 20 min dumbbell routine! I usually go 30 with db, but just getting over flu!

9:30 am Post Work Out: Salad with Balsmic
vinager dressing, plain chicken and
a few grapes.
12:30 pm Slim Fast low carb
2:30 pm yogurt and a banana
5:30 pm pork chop cook on stove top in
water with seasonings (NO butter,
grease, oil, etc.) green beans
steamed, small sweet potatoe with
very little no calorie butter
cinnamin with sweetner.
7:30 pm 1/2 grapefruit no sweetener

Throughout the day I drink flavored water no calories or sugars. Rooibus tea with very little sugar, sweetner, most of the time plain. Sometimes a diet soda for a change. This is more than I usually eat! I’m doing the slim fast as a meal until I can work up to actually eating more food. It’s not easy to train yourself to eat when you’re not use to it or not hungry. I want to do lose this weight and keep it off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As for the husband cheating! I’ve confronted him and the workout partner. There’s nothing going on. Her husband was in the gym a lot when they were working out. I(Talked to him too!) LOL I can be a little firecracker when I want to be! The husband and wife work in the same office, so she’d have to account for the time away. He didn’t know that I knew a few of the girls that go to the gym. I walked in one day and they started talking to me. He was shocked I knew them. They told me that he never crosses the line, talks about me and the kids all of the time, etc. They’ve been my friends for years, so they have no reason to lie to me. One of them worked there too!!! LOL Anyway, I did believe he was for a long time! He’s never out on Fri. or Sat. night without me or the family! So, I think I’m okay there. Put it this way, he’s still walking so he’s okay!!! LOL

treedoles,

Try low carb, high good fat, High protein.

5% carb, 40% fat, 45% protein

sample day

breakfast: 3 whole eggs with a teaspoon of natural almond butter.

Snack: 1 scoop no carbs, no fat protein shake with handful of walnuts

Lunch: 6 ounces chicken breast with a good portion of steamed broccoli or grean beans

Snack: handful of almonds

Dinner: 6 ounces salmon with a good portion of broccoli or grean beans

Snack: a few nuts & protein shake if desired (add cinnemon to shake for blood sugar regulation).

Use organic coconut oil to cook and extra virgin olive oil on salads (which you can substitute for meat and broc dishes). Use spinach for salads as nutritional value is high. Add meat to salad. Don’t be shy to have a rotation of meats including: omega-3 rich fish like salmon, chicken, turkey, pork, beef, game meats like bison, horse, etc. which are lean and protein rich. Don’t be shy to eat whole eggs (omega-3) if you have the $$.

Also use a teaspoon (or two) of hign concentration pharmaceutical quality fish oil once in am and once in pm.

A good quality multivitamin.

You might want to add leucine throughout the day as per Christian Thibaudeau for its anabolic effects and to get better ration of muscle/fat.

I really think you should try what dynamo listed, the low carb diet is really the way to go.

If you are still hungry you can always throw in a steak or chicken breast and a spinach salad as another meal.

I think you should drop the slim fast stuff and definitely the meal with just the yogurt and banana.

Also, I see your last meal is at 730. When are you going to bed? Unless you are going to bed like 45 minutes later I would suggest getting a “snack” in.

Note: I added a few details to my above post.

I usually go to bed between 10:30pm and 2am. Once in a while later. I’m always up by 6:30am at the latest! I have a hard fallin a sleep any early!

I have Muscle Milk, Cyto Gainer and Whey Protien at home now! It’s my husband’s, but I can use it. Will any of this work for me?

I saw Leucine in the store the other day and couldn’t remember what it was for. I go to a store that purchase over stock or going out of business items from other stores. I started with the Slim Fast, because it’s only $1 for a box of 4. I had a doctor tell me that I need to drink it, because I wasn’t eating enough! I’ll cut it out!

Does it matter what brand of Leucine? I can buy it for a $1 a bottle at this little store. He has Nature’s Made, Rite Aid Brand, Eckard Brand, etc. I only buy what’s not out of date!

I just went to the store to pick up a few of the items that was listed above that I didn’t have. I’ll let you know how it goes! I really do appreciate your help!

There is NOTHING wrong with slimfast, its essentially milk, added vitamins and a little extra protein. Do you even know whats in it?

EDIT: That might be your problem, youre not sleeping enough!! You gotta get in enough sleep while dieting, otherwise you will run your body down even quicker!

Leucine or straight whey protein is fine. Muscle milk and cytogainer is pointless for your goals.

Whats the calorie total on this DH?

The leucine is not an immediate must. I don’t know about run of the mill brands for leucine. There is so much crap out there. Try to stick to T-Nation’s sponsor brand (Biotest)= excellent quality.

Diet is key. Carbs only from green veggies, a good deal of your fats from omega-3, olive oil, coconut oil, nuts, natural almond butter, along with saturated fats from the meats and eggs.

Your husband’s protein powders are “gainers” and not for you. You need to look at the protein, carbs and fat content of anything that goes into your mouth. I suggest good quality whey isolate sweetened with stevia. Aspartame is less desireable but better than carbs for you.

I use pro circuit whey isolate that is very pure. It has 27g protein in a 30g scoop (0 carbs, 0 fat). Always check label for protein content per scoop and scoop size. It is not even comparable when a scoop is 50g and the protein per scoop is still around 30g. Do the math 27/30=90% protein where 30/50=60% protein.

Even protein powder that has 4g carbs per scoop will add up if you have 2 shakes per day. You have to limit yourself to around 30g carbs per day so you don’t want to waste 8g on shakes.

PWO (post workout) I recommend 1 scoop protein and around 15-20g glutamine to refuel glycogen stores to the muscle without adding carbs. This is after strenuous weight training. Once you are lean, you can add carbs post workout.

You will need to go to a decent supplements store to get good quality protein with no carbs & no fat. It is not common in gyms or second rate places. Especially sweetened with stevia. A good online store is ok too and economical.

Biotest has low carb Metabolic Drive and Grow Whey that are good quality. Grow is under $40 for 5 lbs even if only 22g protein per 30g scoop (2g carbs per scoop).

Same goes for fish oil (omega-3). Don’t but crap. Buy quality. Flameout by Biotest is great quality as far as capsules go. Very high DHA and fairly high EPA. Most fish oils have higher EPA. I use liquid from a 500 ml bottle by Ascentra called Nutra Sea from sardines and anchovies.

It has 750mg EPA and 500mg DHA per 5ml = tsp. Liquid is more economical but still $40 per bottle which at least lasts a long time.

soontobeIFBB,

I didn’t calculate the calories. I just laid out a low carb template and guesstimated the approx food intake by setting out smaller portions for her than I do myself. Treedoles will have to experiment with portion size and % fat intake.

It is always best to start with a high fat intake to get body acclimated and then she can taper down fat intake to 40 or 35% after a couple of months when she is adapted.

I think eating regularly will get metabolism up and keep her satisfied and allow her to lose weight (especially water weight). If weight loss stalls after several months it would be time to reduce fat % slightly, possibly portion size slightly, or increase activity output.

Trial and error. She should have dramatic results from this strategy. HIIT could be another addition if weight loss (body composition improvement) stalls.
