Limping into October

I don’t know why, but I am going to start the Limping series in October. I read through it a few times and I think I have an idea of what I need to do. My question is what kind of work should I be doing for the rest of my body (strength, hypertrophy, maintenance)?

Do Ian Kings upper body program 12 weeks to super strength at the same time.

Yeah, doing the limping and 12 weeks to bigger chest programs worked great for me. My squat and dead lift went up about 100 pounds and my bench went up fifty. Also lost about 15 pounds of blubber as well.

hey, i’m also getting ready to start limping series and super strength at the same time. when you guys did it though, did you do different phases for each of the programs? i know ian recommends doing like an odd phase lower body with even phase upper and vice versa. i guess i will start out with phase 4 for superstrength and then finish with 3? just wanted to hear how others who have done these programs did it. thanks

I jst did phase 1 of each thru to phase 4 of each, worked fine for me I don’t know why you would want to change from that as phases 1-3 get you ready for 4.

This is probably a dumb question, but I should continue with a hypocaloric diet right?

I did phases 1-4 as laid out in the bigger chest series, and 1-4 as laid out in the limping series. Ian uses an Alt. periodization for the upperbody and regular periodization for the lower. He mentioned that you could use the phase 3 from his get buffed book, to match periodization models. Now I have to figure out which to do next.
