Sometimes you just miss/misjudge the distance.
I just say “I missed, let’s try that again!”
This is true. I have also had several people that just go for the fingers. And I mean it’s almost like they want to stop you before you reach full handshake. I keep waiting for them to yell “Judo Flip”

I’m using this.
I used to get all pissy about the limp handshake, then I grew up and realized the guy might need his hands for work…I have a friend who is a landscaper and has chronic hand pain from pick ax swinging/ shovel work etc…I have a friend who is a guitarist…last thing he wants is one of you dopes hurting his fingers.
When I was 14 or so I met an uncle for the first time. It was one of these big family gatherings in Texas - bbq, war stories, Budweiser and lots of relatives that begin with ‘second’. When I went to go shake his hand he had one of these weird limp, cold shakes and while he was getting on with age I didn’t think he was TOO old so I gave it a right good squeeze and the whole thing just fckin popped off.
I fell back to the ground with his big plastic hand still sticking to mine and this bastard is just sitting there laughing and laughing and laughing.
I hate handshaking now. I always think it’s going to be some sick amputee’s joke. Those fake hands aren’t looking any faker these days either =/

I hate it when people have cold wet hands for no reason.
I always try to destroy the other dudes hand though. I love the little “holy shit dude” way they tear up. Its adorable. I think it sets the tone for dominance in the new relationship if we are talking about first time meetings. Ive had bosses ho were assholes to everyone else submit to me…i believe that first handshake was the reason
lol
Maybe because I am bigger than a lot of people but just relying on dominance in the handshake is like just relying on your big dick to please a woman. Sure it may rock the boat but is that all?
I have a habit of NOT gripping hard at all if shaking a woman’s hand. If they perceive that as “limp wristed” that’s on them. I do that just so I don’t accidentally break their hand.

When I shake a woman I find it best to grab them from the shoulders and move in a rapid incline bench motion.

You should just stare him coldly in the eyes with absolutely no change in expression, and shake his forearm instead. Don’t even recognise it, just straight grab his forearm and shake it up and down once or twice, then turn and walk away.
Then throw a match behind you And as he explodes in flames walk in slow motion back to the office.

I hate shaking hands with women. It’s one of the world’s greatest moral dilemmas. Shake a hair too hard, and they think you’re trying to intimidate them with your manliness, and hate you for it. Slightest bit to softly, and it’s all “Whhhaaaa he looks so manly but he shakes like a bitch”, and you will never have her respect.
Except women who lifts weights. You can shake their’s just like a guy’s hand.

I don’t know if any of you remember lilpower from the Powerful Women’s section on here. She fucking crushed my hand the first time I met her lol. I think I literally said something to the effect of “Damn. I really underestimated that handshake.”

I was just about to post something similar to this. I hate having to shake hands with girls. I wish there was an alternative (I know what you are all thinking, but I mean a casual one.) Especially when a girl puts out her hand for a handshake and it’s super limp, like, soft and not flexed whatsoever. It’s just out there and you move their arm up and down lol.

With women you do the two handshake, that way you can ensure you do not crush but still look “manly”
