Paused squats for the win–and a big groin stretch. Great work.
You are still doing a shit ton of weight being injured and all. Have you had the surgery? Sorry if I missed it.

No not yet, on the 30th I have my Myleogram scheduled and then the surgery will take place some time in January.
Thats badassed paused squats for a man needing surgery.
Thanks alot Joe!
I did some prehab yesterday inversion table, foam roll, static stretching in the hopes of being able to pull today, which I did for the first time in a few weeks…I felt as good as I will feel nowadays. I think with regards to the pulling there is really no need for me to force the action as surgery is nearing, simpy greasing the wheels so when I can get back into it 100% it wont be totally foreign.
Deadlift Against Minis dbl overhand - 275x3 315x3 365x3 315x3
DL - 405x3 455x3
It went relatively well, I still feel very wary of my left arm and bicep tendon when pulling, it feels very very strained.

Matty been busy with life all summer. Back here for the winter. I am glad you are not letting the disks end your lifting , if you read through my log or remember I to destroyed three disks in my lumbar spine, YADA yada “no thanks Doc” and so on. The best advise I ever got was from a couple of pro footballers about how they handled their’s and there careers afterward. After talking to them I had a whole new good outlook.

No shot dude, if I did there would be a big void in my life. It sounds corny but I truly feel it has made me a better person. I resigned myself to realizing that PLing and injuries go hand in hand.
