Lifting in a Rams Head

Done with the mourning and moving forward any way you can. That’s how a man handles his business. You keep doing those 60 x 10 hammers, your biceps are going to move more weight than my bench press.

You are a good man Wiex! comments like that is what I need right now…Im gonna hit bro curlz EVERY Day…

Matty I am crossing my fingers for you. Did you by chance get a massage on vacation? I would work on stretching the neck and making myself tall as possible at all times.

Thanks Rick, I did get a massage before vacation and went to my chiro twice this week and he used the electro-stimulus thingy but that was for my sciatica / piriformis issue. He doesent want to touch my neck until the definitive results comeback which I understand. I hope to hear something today.

Good luck and soldier on. As long as you keep moving your going forward.

Im drawn into threads with pics of burly men and beautiful kids ! Good luck today

I fully expect video of curling in the squat rack

Great work up there. Your adapting well considering the issues you are dealing with. Hope the chiro is helping.

Im trying GV I figure other people have suffered worse and are still moving metric tons

Well I finally got the results, and its 2 disc herniation’s in c3 and c4 (or c4 and c5 I forgot lol) and arthritis! Yippee! I have a follow up with the Neurologist next week and I will go from there. I am going to continue to avoid things I cant do and slowly introduce them when I start feeling better, I will take the time to work on conditioning with the ergometer and BB complexes, lighter weight. Will pay special attention to teh guns…cuz I have no choice, I have wrote down a list of things I can do and cannot do and will formulate something from there. On the bright side I am feeling my fingers more and I think I feel better. RTS training is on hold until I am able to lift at full throttle again. I want to thank all you guys for the well wishes and concern it really means alot.

I did train yesterday:

Squat x3 - up to 345 and then dropped to 315.
GM - 90, 135, 225 x 10. I tried seated GMs but found them odd.
DB Cleans - 30x20 45x3x12
Flys - by lots SS w reverse pec dec
Gun show - lots by lots
Ergometer - 4 rnds x 300 meters.

fuck you neck

Really great attitude and plan. Adapt and overcome.

Nice work brother. With a bitchy neck, you’re still squatting more than my 1RM. How was it feeling during the squats btw?

Exactly Harry, I have no choice, either dwell on it, or figure it out.

Wiex - It is odd, but possibly because I go low bar when I squat it does not effect the c-3 c-4 c-5 area? I am still thinking I will tread lightly, and not force reps. as that is when I have a propensity of bar rolling up my neck when I pitch forward. When form starts to really take a hit is when I will stop.

Great job adapting! As long as you keep moving your going in the right direction.

Thanks bro, Ill keep on keeping on

Today…

Snatch Grip High Pulls from pins - 90,135,185,205x5 225x3 240x3 275x1 (legit this time)
Band Push downs - lots
DB Flys SS w DB Rev Fly - 30x2x20 45x5 45x15
Meadows 6 way - 10x3x10
HS Low Row - 2plt x 20 3plt x 12,10

Starting Monday I will formulate my own programming while injured, something to at the very least not let me fall to far behind strength wise.

Squatting 345 is taking it easy??
