Eh… just looks like he lost some fat, turned his arms so they look wider, and got a tan.
Kidding!
Actually, jo3, that was what I first thought when I saw these two pictures together, however from his workout videos is is evident he is bigger. I was at the gym yesterday and had a killer workout. I was slightly surprised to witness my musculature almost burst out of my skin because I was able to produce more intensity. Almost like a deflated tire that has lost its original shape then the intensity is the compressed air and you experience that fullness of shape take form again once the air is applied.
There very fact he doesn’t look tremendously different shows he it must be a natural achievement for him.[/quote] Well, he did pass the drug-test, too.
Btw. as I was looking for his test results, I came across this:
Wow. I’ve pretty much ignored that site for years now, but I just had to look.
Getbig is really the worst of the worst of bb forums. What’s the average age of their members, 13?
I don’t even know why that forum is called getbig in the first place.
(that is definitely not their worst thread either)

Bit of a shame that he’s going to cut now… I’d love to see how far he could take things without gear, but that would mean continuous training rather than 3-4 months per year…
Wonder if he’s going to stop training and eating again after his cut, like he used to.

That thread is ridiculous. I am sure not one of those guys looks even half way impressive. You see people like that in gyms across the country…turning their noses up at anyone who actually looks built as they struggle with two 10lbs plates on the bar. To people like that, no one in the world has better genetics than them…it is simply ALL DRUGS.

I hate that. Because what one cannot acheive must be acheived only by cheating. Bitches.
I wonder what the plan is for his cutting phase, seeing as how he used to “diet up” to shows I dont know how accustomed he is to “cutting” weight and seeing the scale go down. Should be interesting though. Of course all of us want to see him get even bigger, but that isnt his goal right now. I’m along for the ride in any event.

Nor do they consider that someone else might bust their tail more than them.
Levrone just looks killer when he took his top off at the end.
I think someone mentioned before, would be interesting to see how this pans out considering he used to diet up and he has already dropped BF whilst adding on muscle
Guys, why do you think there are all these people who discredit EVERY muscular physique by yelling steroids? Is it the way you and I were raised that fosters a respect for anything someone else can physically achieve, regardless of natural/non? Is it the fact that people are just so incredibly stupid? I seriously want to jump through the screen and rip someones heart out ‘Temple of Doom’ style when I read crap discrediting any bodybuilder…
The only good thing about that getbig thread was the journey song

They are losers, plain and simple. People who have actually made impressive progress themselves rarely feel the need to act like that…mostly because they are probably getting the same attitude from others.
It separates the people who stand out from those who don’t and never will. If I see someone bigger than me, I wonder what their food intake is like or how hard they trained or for how many years. I don’t jump into, “well, he is probably only that big because of steroids.”
I wasn’t familiar with the old levrone as I was far too young when this was going on:
But god damn after watching that I feel like he has been training like a real pussy for the most part during this transformation. His intensity is just not the same. I just feel like he could be pushing more weight if he wanted.

He isn’t trying to get back into the shape he was in while competing. He is doing this for some acting role he has coming up.

I don’t think it’s possible for an outside person (by which I mean anyone but the person doing it) to accurately make a determination on that.
Here’s an analogy, maybe not a great one: You’ve seen an F1 or Top Fuel dragster driver driving in his heyday. Damn.
Now you see him in a little lawnmower-engine-powered go-kart and he’s not going that fast, and looking at his face you don’t see any strain.
Does that mean his foot isn’t flat on the gas and the motor isn’t doing everything it can? Nope.
After I’d had the one long layoff I’ve had (bad relationship) and got back to training and was totally detrained and weak, for a while it was like that sad go-kart. Foot was mashing the gas all the way to the floor – that is to say, my brain was completely doing the job to make the muscles do all they could – but fact was the muscles weren’t doing that much. Didn’t look like I was using “intensity.” You couldn’t tell by looking. But the muscles were doing all they had by the last rep and, for them, were working hard every rep.
As for Levrone’s current weights and whether he could have used more (for less reps) do you think it wise for someone who hadn’t lifted a weight in 4 years and has had only a matter of 7 or 8 weeks (depending what time point you are talking about) for the tendons to strengthen up again, to be seeing what he can do for triples, seeing if he can get heavier weights with some heaving motion and so forth?

Not only that, the guy is in his 40’s now. It would just be flat out stupid for him to act like he did in his 20’s and 30’s…unless he wants to tear a muscle.

also, it’s a case of been there/done that.
he’s already lifted way more than others ever will.
he is just lifting what he is capable of giving in this moment in time, I don’t doubt he isn’t giving it his full intensity just because he doesn’t have a serious face/hoody on at all times/or any other external sight that somehow implies intensity
maybe he could lift a bit more, but he’s being sensible considering he is recently coming back into it.
I know I was one of those who were like, “shouldn’t he doing more” crowd, then I used my head and shut up lol
