So, work has totally interfered with training! With constantly changing shifts and days it’s been hard to get the motivation to go to the gym. I finally made it today after work!!! It’s like starting all over again. ![]()
Leg Extensions: 5 sets of 10 x 55. This was supposed to be 10 x 60 but I forgot to engage the 5 lb thingy.
Calf Raises: 4 sets of 12 x 40, 1 set of 9 x 40.
Squats: 2 sets of 10 x Bar.
EDIT: The leg curls were really leg extensions.

Okay…no training news but I overheard this at work today. Some guy was talking about the gym in his apartment complex and to describe how crappy it was he said that only girls could workout there because the DBs only went to 50lbs and they only have one bench. I immediately thought of all the women here who could probably kick his ass without breaking a sweat. I’m pretty sure he rarely goes into a gym, ANY gym, because he is easily 3 times my size. He then followed up his statement by saying that he really only does the elliptical and hardly any weights. ![]()

Cable Rows: 3 sets of 10 x 60.
SO WEAK!!! This pisses me off.
DB Curls: 3 sets of 10 x 12.5. So glad I could still do these! Thought I might have to go down to the 10s.
FPs: 3 sets of 10 x 40.
DB Front Laterals: 2 sets of 10 x 10. So weak. If I had done side ones I would have had to go down to the 5s. ![]()
Gym was super packed! All the skinny junior high/freshman boys looked like. And some of the hardcore type guys who did more yapping than training. I was supposed to do MPs but every type of bar equipment was taken. I guess I could have used DBs but insecurity reared its ugly head and to not look TOO girly (Sheesh, I’d already used the 10s!) I decided to skip the MPs which probably would have been with the 12.5s. Le sigh…I need to get over the whole caring about other people thing.
On a side note, I bought some tiger balm because Claire has said great things about it. Rubbed some on my neck where I could reach (hope to have IH rub where I can’t reach after he gets home), put the jar on the table, turned around to put a TV dinner in, turned back around, and AMBER IS LICKING THE SIDE OF THE JAR!!! HOLY SHIT! I thought I’d just poisoned her to death!!! Called the animal hospital and they said (after 10 minutes on hold) that since it’s just the residue and she didn’t get a lot and there would have been an almost instantaneous reaction, she should be fine but they’ll put it in her history anyway, just in case. OMG…big sigh of relief.
Okay, going to nap now.
Worked out at home tonight. When I drove by the gym, there was not a single parking spot available!!!
