yeah, you don’t need none of that “gym” stuff to get a good workout. And I’m with MiM, BW exercises are a freaking killer.
I’m actually thinking of doing this one tonight! You could do it too, maybe lower the reps to like 10 to start and take your time - you don’t have rush the moves like the fool in the vid. Also, when I do my burpees I’m not going to pound my pelvis into the ground - tsk tsk DeFranco.

Okay…I got motion sickness from the vid going up and down on the last bit. And my pelvis hurt just watching those burpees. But I can definitely do that…with less reps of course!
I hate it when professors favorit-ize(sometimes I make up words)
But that’s the beauty of my online classes right now, they can’t see my eye rolling and smart ass attitude!
You are poised for great things Grneyes - graduation, new life, new lifestyle, new passions, and the fun of uncovering the body hiding within. AND a supportive loving partner … ! Loving this romance here - living vicariously, for sure. (Lurking long, posting little.) Happy for you two.
I have been plugging away at this for a few years and started at a very similar level. While I was building my foundation I found out almost any movement was good movement whether I had a DB in my hand or just used BW. And a real ass kicker is Rachel Cosgrove’s metabolic circuit. If you don’t mind, I’ll post link below. I couldn’t complete it at first but any progress is progress!
Cngrats on graudation! I’m probably the one person who doesn’t know this, but what did you graduate with? What’s your next adventure? Aside from Hungry, of course. Glad you picked up the book. The link that FreckleFace posted is fantastic. I’m trying it this week for my fat burning days.

I finally graduated from college. My degree is a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

how does it feel to be a grownup? or, to be one on paper?
congrats!![/quote]
Well, I feel the same but now I have all this extra time on my hands. It is currently being spent packing and after the movers come on Thursday it will be spent working out. Work is the same, except I am going to spend most of my days training my replacements (yay, training pay! $1 extra an hour!), who did not have a say in the fact they are replacing me. It was decided by the powers that be that they would take over my extra responsibilities, without their knowledge. So now I have two weeks to train two people on something that is done once a week. And this week I don’t work with either of them at all.
This is what I’ve had to deal with…We have the NRA (National Restaurant Association) and the National Confectioner’s Association both in town this weekend…so between the restaurant show and the candy show…any sort of healthy eating has been as nonexistent as the dinosaurs.
Okay, so I did some bodyweight stuff today. I did two circuits of inchworms, fire hyrdrants, arm circles, scapular push ups, and Rachel Cosgrove’s lateral step-out. It’s pretty pathetic that this killed me. On the other hand, it did feel great.
Now on to work and successfully avoiding candy…keep your fingers crossed.
