I’m pretty sure those are barely a warm up for you!

Nice Greenie! That’s some really good training. And the fact that you like stretching and mobility stuff will pay off in dividends down the line. Good work girl!

tell that idiot a bunch of shit info and watch her sink like a rock.
and nice workout  6x12 of anything is not weak unless your like picking your nose.

^^^^^ I second that whole-heartedly!

Looks like you got in some great work there. Outstanding!!

Best wishes on your upcoming test!

Thank you! It was pretty easy, in and out in under 15 minutes…however…

It actually pissed me off. She had it so that if you got a certain number of points out of 1500 max points, you were exempt from the final. Only 8 of us had to take the final, not sure how that happened…How can you exempt 22 ppl? According to her grading scale I was getting a C-/D+. WTF? I had 976 points, another guy had only 918, another chick had 998. Only one of the 8 of us was above 1000 points. That means that anyone getting a high C and above was exempt from the final. You really should only have been exempt if you were getting an A, because obviously anything less than an A means you didn’t learn what you were supposed to learn. Plus we were in 5-6 ppl groups the entire semester and all of the 5-ppl groups were exempt, even the group that went over the presentation time the previous week like my group did (she took frickin’ 50 points off for 6 measly minutes). Total favoritism or some shit going on.

Not cool about your prof. But at least the final gave you a chance to improve your mark, and sounds like it went well for you.

I’ve gotten a couple D+…honestly I was just happy to pass the damn class!

sounds shady though in your case…so you are done now, right? That’s such a good feeling!

I’ve gotten out of a final bc i was the prof’s copy girl. and no, nothing dirty. he was a 6’5" 350lb 2 pack a day smoking diabetic. but it was econ so i rolled with it. and i was alone with the scantrons while i fed em through the machine… MUAHAHAH.

agree about A’s only being exempt… maybe she didnt feel like grading finals?

I’m going to agree with this, totally.

I went with a college professor and she would do similar things, because it was the end of the semester and the amount of grading that was involved.

Hiya Bear!

^^^^ yeah, the prof sounds like he/she’s looking for a way to be lazy…seems kinda shitty when I think about all of the times I had to listen to one preach about ‘putting forth the effort!’

C’est la vie (sp?)…it’s over now…onto better things and brighter horizons!!!

I just caught up, regarding the DOMs, are you getting enough water? Muscle soreness is way worse if you’re dehydrated.

For the Trekkie…

So, I just got some bad news in my work email. They are renovating the pool area for the next couple of weeks and the weight room is going to be off limits most of those days as you have to go through the pool area to get to the weight room. It looks like steady-state cardio is in my future as far as training goes…until I move to PA. I can probably still do some mobility work and body weight stuff hopefully.

Hey, just because I can do the “live long and prosper” thing with both hands…wait…umm…yeah…forgot what my point was there.

you can absolutely do body weight stuff! BW stuff is what kicks my butt the most actually…

yeah, you don’t need none of that “gym” stuff to get a good workout. And I’m with MiM, BW exercises are a freaking killer.

I’m actually thinking of doing this one tonight! You could do it too, maybe lower the reps to like 10 to start and take your time - you don’t have rush the moves like the fool in the vid. Also, when I do my burpees I’m not going to pound my pelvis into the ground - tsk tsk DeFranco.

^What they said!

Masch, that’s a killer circuit you found there. Burpees are the devil.

I 100% agree with the ladies.

There’s a ton of stuff you can do at home. You can do this in between packing boxes, babe:)

Just…nevermind.
