I did not do cardio as I wanted to be sure I had a big caloric surplus, but I am planning on starting the morning cardio really soon.
As for front squat, I did not to them as I wanted to improve on my backsquat, but they will be part of my next blast(using the smyth) in about 3-4weeks

From what I’ve read of Dante’s stuff, I think he was recommending the cardio both to keep the BF down AND to help you grow faster, but I should probably ask Scott M. or Sentoguy that.
You weren’t doing rest-paused sets to failure for the squat, were you? I thought quadz were done with two straight sets: 1 heavy in the 6-8 rep range and then 1 20-rep widowmaker. Couldn’t the front squat be done the same way? Squats don’t really grow my legs at all (just my hips and butt), so I’m starting to do a lot more front squats.

Dante recommends cardio to keep bf down (which I assumed I could afford to have it a little higher, but yeah, maybe I should’ve done 2x/week 20mins or something but… was a bit lazy on that and didnt felt it was an ABSOLUTE need as I was pretty lean already). The reason why he says it will help you grow more is that morning cardio opens appetite so you end up eating more, but I was already getting more than 4000calories.
As for the squats,you are right its its 1 heavy set 6-8 and than 1 widowmaker of 20. Its the same for every other quad exercices also so yeah, front squat would be done with the same fashion

I remember your thread back in June too. Good to see you are still hanging around. Very obvious size improvement, especially the lats. When you you the extra fat (and weigh ~192 as you mentioned) I think you will look excellent. Keep it up!
you look better in every pose except for the side chest, and i think that has to do more with the angle/lack of tan then anything else. Sucks you lost a good amount of your quad seperation, but oh well.
