Let's Process Our Feelings

Here comes trouble…

This is where every man braces and hopes you don’t go from the fun, amazing girl to a psychopath :stuck_out_tongue:
It was his idea!

Which reminds me, I need to talk to him about the way he cuts his hair. Let him know I think he watches too much football and spends too much time on his hobbies and passions.

Can I just ask, once more; Are men actually an idiot race? Because an awful lot of them, from my perspective, seem to be constantly trying to get laid in the honest hope of a reward for doing bad things. This is partially because I have a history of doing the same thing myself, but… yeah. That’s probably the problem with violent revolution, and with communism as far as I’m concerned. I’m off, once again, to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard who has taken a hipocratic oath, and I’ll see you later.

A reward for doing bad things? What are the bad things?

I’d laugh if my partner hadn’t asked me if she could try something with my hair last week :-/

We’re under the silly impression that having sex is a good way to fix problems.

I’m only supposed to communicate with Hockey now. We decided.

But I didn’t mention Hockey to Iraq, just the distance and danger issues. :frowning:

It seems mean to ignore him. :-/

Why would anyone in their right mind want multiple romantic partners? Lunacy.
Woo! Thats a pretty big step.
We’re sleeping together now and everything is just really good, so I think (and he seems to think) that it’s worth focusing on exclusively. Still not one single red flag. He’s strong and kind and funny. I’m sure there are negative qualities, but to this point I haven’t noticed any.

He’s always been enjoyable to be around, but now that I get to touch whenever I want to it’s even better.

I’m definitely having feelings.
Nice to hear.

I would simply tell Iraq the truth, and point out how it precludes communication with him.
I punted last night, but went ahead and gave a more honest answer this morning. He’s a good guy, from what I can tell, and deserves that. He knew there was someone else - he thought I met someone at my work party, but it was the shift with Hockey the following day, after snowshoeing and ice storm overnight, that he sensed.

I didn’t go into those details, just acknowledged that there had been a slow-moving thing and that ultimately I felt I needed to focus on potentially workable relationships rather than one that really has no chance.

Sucks. I feel like a cad.

Why stop there?

Alienate him from his family and manipulate him using your sexuality.

i thought that was a given.

do they plot this, or does it happen naturally, O?

i am quite sure that it happens naturally, and menz are too hooked on the vagine to notice it.

That happens naturally.

Unless of course you actively fight it as a man, sucessfuly, then she gets mad tingles.

Ever noticed how you can get in a fight and the sex following it is way better than usual?

Thats because if you dont take her shit she wants you more.

Personally, whenever a woman tries to manipulate me with sex she gets a well deserved freeze out of at least one week.

I mean, its an inbuilt feature, but it is really not that bad, Krauser, who knows his stuff calls it rubbing up against your manhood, no pun intended.

She just wants to feel that you are da MAN and have it all under control and then its all good.

The problem arises when you dont nip it in the bud and her tests become uglier and uglier because she cannot help it.

Its actually a cry for help, in a way.

No, I like families and they like me. I want to keep them. So instead of alienation I was thinking I could do extra of that thing where I say “Is that what you’re wearing tonight?” with a worried frown.

I manipulated using my sexuality this weekend, and was very happy with the result, so I’ll probably do more of that.

Your compassion is admirable (and your feelings understandable) but you did nothing wrong, right?

“Good job,” I say. :-)
I actually got a really nice response to the more forthcoming email after no response to the first one. He is a nice guy. (Soldier of fortune career notwithstanding.)

But Iraq would have felt perfectly happy if I had banged him, and in fact I’m guessing he’d have preferred it.

So?

A lot of men would prefer to bang you, do you want to accomodate them all?

I think I understand what you are saying though, because a cad refuses to commit just because of a bang even though the woman might want to.

My point still stands though, a first class cad does not worry about such things.

An honorable cad might even tell them beforehand that an extended relationship is unlikely, AC probably has his brutal honesty policy for this reason.

I guess what I am trying to say is, if all women played it the way you play it I would have no problem with women whatsover.

Most dont.
