For arguments sake I would consider Ronnie from the jersey shore to be “big,” he’s not skinny, average, medium whatever, he has more muscle on him than the majority of the people in the gym and hence he is “big.”
With that being said I don’t understand the reason why most WSM compeitors wouldn’t be considered “huge.”
Also Evan, why would Evan and Kai be in different categories. If that’s a shot at Ev, well Evan is bigger than Kai.
Those WSM guys are huge. They may not look as muscular as a conditioned heavyweight BBer but if you stood next to a 6’6"+ 300+ pound guy who isn’t a fat slob you’d think they were huge

To the majority of people in the gym Zac Efron is ripped.
And Shaq is bigger than Evan and Kai what is your point?? Evan is my favorite BB but, he does not have the holy shit factor of other BB’s like Kai/Jay/Ronnie do… yet.

I agree with this however there are varying levels of Holy shit! While Kai may be at the top end of the Holy Shit spectrum along with guys like Ronnie and Branch you can’t really exclude Evan from the holy shit category. To me he just falls lower on the spectrum of “Holy shit!” then Kai does.
Similarly while Zac Efron and Brad Pitt have more defined abs then everyone’s favorite Sparkling vampire that doesn’t make him fat in any way shape or form. He simply falls closer to the other end of the skinny spectrum.

I agree but, since the goal was to make a list I feel the categories should be clearly defined and the spectrum within the category should be avoided. If the Hulk existed he would be in his own WHHHATTT TTHHEE FUUCK section no else would be there.
Edit: I have going off Matthaeus list (since I liked it) and so, I would not put Ronnie in a category with Stallone.

No knock on Evan from my side… But he is both taller and lighter than kai, no? Kai is probably bigger than cutler… And I don’t think Evan is there yet at all although he has made great improvements.
Has been a while since I checked his stats though, where’s he at now?
I thought people meant it that way: big bodybuilders, Marius and co, even olympia guys, would mostly be one step below holy shit, where holy shit is reserved for the most massive ala Richards, Coleman, Smith, Greene…
There really is a pretty big difference between Vic Richards and Pudzianowski (for example) though.
He is 290 and pretty shredded right now looking much better than pre olympia Kai idk, we are not talking about cartoon hulk characters, everytime Ev is in public it will be “holy shit” coming from the majority of people seeing him.

Ya but the Hulk is fictional so that’s irrelevant.

Isn’t being “ripped” having low bodyfat? Everyone you would look at and say “that guys ripped” has really low bodyfat and very viable abs/6pack. Effron and Pitt were ripped… Very small/skinny but still “ripped.”
This thread is one of the best I’ve read in this section in a long time. Keep up the good work
A question I didnt see ‘defined’ was Arnold 73-75. I’d say in the context of time he was ‘omfgfreakstatus’ but in modern bodybuilding standards, just big/huge.
He is 290 and pretty shredded right now looking much better than pre olympia Kai idk, we are not talking about cartoon hulk characters, everytime Ev is in public it will be “holy shit” coming from the majority of people seeing him. [/quote]
By that standard you could make the argument that JJ, McGrath etc would also all be “holy shit” sized… But compared to the Greene in terms of actual amount of muscle-mass versus height… I dunno man.
I’m not saying they’re not super-impressive mind you, I’m just going by the big picture here which includes the biggest of the biggest… In that picture of Khan (though I guess his legs are a little behind the rest of him) he looks like he’d blow Evan away but I’m not sure…
