Ok so now that we have a pretty good grasp of the scale the real question is: What category do you think that you fall into?
I don’t know what scale we’re using since there was like 3 different ones lol. But I’d put myself in the lower end of works out or higher end just started working out. Unfortunately I had a lot of setbacks this year, so I was actually bigger Dec 09 than I am now. Sucks.
I think we are using Kingbeef’s scale simply because “KB scale” seems to sound better than the “Prof X is being mean to us and made this thread just so he can get everyone to call him huge Scale”

Catchy.

holy-shit 30 ys ago and also now,
the lowest ratio head/arm circumference and best arms ever (IMO).

here his Triceps look bigger than his back

this pics shows the differences with Arnold, both in size AND symmetry

Way turned 21 recently just FYI.

Honestly, I think it’s pretty funny someone put me in “big”…Way’s got around 55-65 lbs on me, and he’s only 6" taller, so yeah.

Not that I really give a shit…being classified as a certain term won’t change my Big 3 :)
You have also progressed inmensely man. Do you wanna compete only in powerlifting? Your body has potential for bodybuilding as well.
From what I understand, and I could be wrong. He will either lose points straight up for the ink, or lose any close calls because of it.

All else being equal the ink will hurt him. But if he straight blows the competition away, it will not be relevant.

again, I’m not 100% on this, I can’t even remember where I read it to double check.

edit to add a “not”
I don’t think it matters much anymore. Some of them use so much tanner that any tats they have are nearly invisible. Many NPC competitors have huge tats. It may affect you on the Olympia stage level but doubtfully much before then.
I’m not all THAT concerned about it…like X said, just using some good tanner will probably fade them pretty good, and more importantly…if they’re gonna judge my physique by the ink on it…they can go fuck themselves.

Just one more thing I love about powerlifting. Not nearly the same amount of political bullshit involved.

Dang…I never knew Poundstone was that carved out…the more you know apparently…

So true man. I share your opinion because I have 2 tattoos, damn look at Alex Raymond, I don’t think he’s gonna be trumped by his bodyart.

IMO, judges are just glorified critics and you know the saying

“Critics are like eunuchs in a harem; they know how it’s done, they’ve seen it done every day, but they’re unable to do it themselves.”

Would you guys put Zane as heavyweight? Or did a “big” guy win 3 olympias?

A big guy won three Olympias… One or two of which are still being questioned.
jithu wrote:
Skinny. where is the fashion industry going??
To what most men (99.99%) look like and “what’s in”.

This is an ad on ESPN.com

this probably isn’t relevant anymore, but isn’t Greg Plitt also the cover guy for the Velocity Diet? He looks “big”+ there (Although, he is flexing during his dips on the home page). Just thought I’d point it out…

Oh yeah it does look like him. lol, how disingenuous, there is no way Plitt did something like the V-Diet. I don’t think he looks “big” in those pictures though.

Altrock, I actually don’t think your “wtf” is big enough to be in that sort of “holy shit” category. Huge though, no doubt.

HOLY SHIT!!

Besides his injury in 1980 (which fucked him, he was ramping up hard to compete against Arnold) he did get bigger in the early 80’s.

I would def put him in The top of heavyweight, or bottom of huge.

But really he’s a holy shit in my eyes. So dense.
