Let's Answer Everyone's Burning Questions

Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of studies on this

It’s just personally hard to relate to

That’s what I love about snuggling my husband’s back if I can’t sleep. I suppose I’m “the big spoon” but I don’t have my arm under him, I just mold myself to his back and butt (which I can do without becoming a giant perv) and either drape my hand over his side or rest it on his hip. 8/10 times it’s like taking a xanax. The 2/10 that it doesn’t work I can slip away without waking him.

We almost never stay snuggled for the bulk of the night. Generally if we fall asleep that way it’s for 30 minutes to a couple of hours, then we separate. He probably gets hot and I’m pretty restless. But it’s awfully nice while it’s working.

Thats where I run into problems. Pun intended.

Yeah. I KNOW.

Someone - Orion, maybe? - back in the Hockey Guy days said something along the lines of that he’s 100 times more perverted than I would imagine. Yesterday I reported a fever sweat in the night and said I had to get up and pull off wet clothes, and he accidentally asked why I didn’t “call him,” before remembering that “oh yeah.”

I still haven’t had an opportunity to see whether he has “twice as many guns as he admits to,” because I don’t know where all of them are.

Burning question: how big a TV is needed for optimal viewing?

That depends on a number of variables
How big is the room?
Where is the TV positioned in 3D space relative to available sitting furniture?
Where is the window and does it produce glare?
How is the primary users’ eyesight?
Do you need CC?

That’s like asking who the best superhero is at a Comic-Con…

I like projectors better. You can decide your size screen, its portable, and have backyard movie nights while making smores.

Oh, and it’s way less likely that a toddler/drunk friend/idiot in-law will break it.

Golf?

Except in Scotland they call it Goffff

Yep, if i am not playing, i am watching…especially the LPGA

Burning question 2:

Which is the best TV for watching each different type of sport?

Oh no, no, no, we don’t do that here in the burning questions thread. Ask/answer. That’s it! So your answer would be based on your OWN room dimensions, position, window, eyesight, and CC needs.

Superman, obvs. (See how easy it is?)

I’m going to say “one that does not overwhelm your living space and crowd out book storage area.”

Burning question 3:

Do you giant TV people have separate living areas (dens, finished basements) for these walls of screen? Or is this THE living room?

I have a pretty modestly sized tv by todays standards. I don’t need any more overwhelming brightness than I already get.
