How about a little break down of your routine for us RAW guys? So that we too can get stronger than 99.5% of WalMart shoppers.

Thanks TKO,
I have always focused on squatting over everything else. I cant leg press without getting a terrible headache, and hate hack squats.
I have found my best progress (strength wise) from frequent squatting with a low volume.
Several years ago I had plateaued on a 240kg 1RM for well in excess of 18 months.
I started squatting every 2nd day, with just two sets, one set of 2-3 reps, and one set of 6-8.
What this did was accustom me to having the heavy weight on my back, so it was no longer intimidating to have heavy weight on my back. There was enough volume to over-train, but over a month or so, very heavy weight became much less of a mental challenge.
This helped get my max weight from 240kg 1RM, to a 260 4RM in around six months.
Nowadays I don’t squat near that heavy, as I found I never really developed any size from heavy leg work, so have, this year started bumping up the volume.
My current (last two weeks) leg workout is as follows:
Set 1: Squats, High reps (20-50)
Sets 2-4: Squats, med reps, 10-15
Sets 5-7: Split squats with barbell, 8-10 reps per leg
Sets 8-12: Good Mornings, 6-10 reps
Sets 13-16: Reverse Hypers, 6-10 reps
Sets 17-18: Lunge walking, approx 50-60 strides per set, with 20kg dumbells
Sets 19-20: Seated Leg Curl 6-10 reps, holding peak contraction for 2 secs.
I try to keep the rest periods 90 secs or less, and reasonably explosive concentric movements. I no longer train to failure, maybe 1-2reps short, as have found that my overall training volume drops too much if I take every set to failure. I used to ALWAYS train to failure, but didn’t find any additional benefit.
It takes me about 45mins to get thru the above, and I try to hit it every 4-5days min.
I do seem to have a very fast recovery rate though, I never get sore, and my strength seems to drop if I don’t train each bodypart at least every five days, as opposed to friends who can take two weeks off and come back stronger.
