Adding to my list. Another authoritarian thing he has done is investigate political rivals (Biden family) using tax payer money as leverage with a foreign country.*
*accused of (by his political rivals)
Meanwhile the previous president actually definitely 100% used intelligence services (taxpayer funded don’tcha know) and foreign countries to investigate the political candidate for the opposing party. And how do we know this happened and it was wrong? Because when Trump first tweeted that his campaign was spied on, it was a large sea of denials and "prove it"s.
No one came out and said “yep we did exactly that and here’s why” or even “we can’t speak on that, just wait and see and all will become clear”. Not a soul. The accusation was categorically refuted had to be squeezed out and proven over a long torturous time. Now that it’s proven, the initial denials are long ignored.
But everybody - especially the people who denied it and made Trump “prove it” - know that it’s wrong. Otherwise why deny it?
Contrast this to Trump, who when accused, immediately said “Nope. And here’s the transcript”.
But the Left has this thing about making human beings forget basic rules - like which of the above is the behavior of criminals, and which is the behavior of innocent people.
Speaking of, Clyburn and Bill Clinton’s campaign adviser are suggesting canceling the rest of the primaries and debates to focus on November. WHOA!
The fact that this is even being discussed is scary. Taking the vote out of people’s hands? If anything indicates the fall of the democratic party this is it. There is no identity with 2 factions in-fighting to the demise of the party.
I suspect that the democratic party officials are propping up zombie Biden not because they think he will win, but to secure their ranks. If Bernie magically won, he would remake the party and oust the establishment. At this point, I think they just want to keep the status quo and focus on 2024.
If Biden actually won, who would lead? Because it wouldn’t be Biden. Biden is a vote for ‘None of the Above’.
I knew the DEMS were clueless and out-of-touch…but I didn’t take them to be straight out dumb as shit.
Did they not learn anything from 2016? That pissing off Bernie’s Minion’s was a bad idea? They need to just let the primary season play itself out all of the way to the Convention…with no back-room bullshit and shenanigans.
Will that guarantee a win against Trump? No. But a replay of 2016 will guarantee them a loss.
I haven’t trusted Obama since he took everyone’s guns and then had superstorm sandy created by the deep state so he could win in 2012.
Now we’ve got Hannity musing if Coronavirus is being used by the deep state to hurt the markets. The deep state is so deep they are working in small parts of China to stop the President. Make no mistake about it they will personally infect Trump voters right before Election Day! Just cause you ain’t paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you!
“There’s an MIT guy I noticed on Twitter, and you know he’s saying pretty much the same thing he does research nearly every single day on immune systems he said quote ‘coronavirus fear-mongering by the deep state will go down in history as one of the biggest frauds to manipulate economies, suppress dissent, and push mandated medicines,’” Hannity said, adding, “May be true.”
It’s just the Trump hysteria have them operating in hyperventilating mode. What they didn’t bother to do is calm down, look around and notice that things are basically okay. Did he make mistakes, sure, but the hysteria is unwarranted. It’s turning normal people into animals.
Bernie’s minions are pissed off by default. Whether he’s a bad guy or just completely delusional is up for debate, but the people he surrounds him with are the dregs of society who think Gulags are a good idea and violence just has to happen to get everyone on the same page. That’s whats scary about this situation. And you cannot escape it. If he losses it’s because of voter suppression. No evidence needed for such a claim, it just is because they say it is.
I used to do it “all the time”, like “everyone else” - I’m trying to stop myself, and calling people on it more
I’m pretty sure it bothers me a lot less now because I’m doing something against it. Practicing not doing it myself requires me to develop a sharper eye for it
Thanks for listening, it feels good nowadays to be heard.
As opposed to when I used to prefer to not be heard, because I was (supposedly) way too smart/deep/“real”/whatever for others to understand
