Millies at 105! Damn fine. For me, that feels about as possible as lifting the moon up. But, with the resources you have available to you, why no plan?
Um, wow. I was happy getting one at 88lbs.
@ Pegg - yeah, that burger motivational sums me up nicely, I think. Although it’s usually sweet things that are my downfall.

Like a boss? Maybe?

Happy Damn Christmas Girl.
Happy Holidays bear!! And here’s to more shenanigans and fucking awesome PRs in the new year!!

Happy Holidays to you and yours Bear
and shenanigans ftw - I need something to read with my morning cup of coffee afterall ![]()
xx
hallowed- i wouldnt mind sleeping through christmas. i’m not particularly religious, only reason i’m not doing it is that the day means something to people i care about. so whatevs. had a lazy morning today, and it was lovely.
MIM- that pic is exactly how i felt last night and today. except wifowt teh snowz. i couldnt relax like that on ice.
nadia- legitimate question. I’m still new enough to “real” powerlifting (1 yr), my training was inconsistent for the last few months, and i have several intense days of coaching each month for the lifts i want to improve most. so, pretty much whatever i do at the local is going to help me and not matter all that much what it is that i do, as long as i do SOMETHING. also, i know a lil more than the average bear and wont waste time doing triep kikbacks with a 3lb db.
cal- you can still be happy getting one at 88lbs. you’re way more broken than i am! ![]()
pegg and inky- DORKS! i like it.
thanks for all the holiday wishes! Im putting out positive energy for everyone to have the day they want, whatever that means for them.

I hope you are having a great day today. Perhaps there will be stories forthcoming, cause there is always something interesting happening around the Bear.
thanks for the holiday wishes and lolz!!
spent christmas morning at my parents with pegg, oldest bro, and youngest sister. good times and pancakes were had by all.
left and went to pegg’s parents that afternoon, more good times were had and i met more of his family.
the kids were awesome per usual, and i hafta admit, i almost had more fun playing with them than i did having any kind of adult conversation.
they dig being tossed around/fighting, and when i had the 3 year old in nugget leg press position, he insisted that i frow him wai high! so i asked how high? the ceiling? the clouds?
FROW ME UP TO JEEZUS!
and i’ll leave that there.

HAHAHAH! Freaking priceless!!
It really was priceless. Had a couple very “AWWWWWW” moments, more than anyones fair share of adult jokes at both gatherings, and i even treated myself with an itunes card, putting the rest toward responsible use.
worked from 12-8 today, went to the gym after.
did the quick n ezee lift at the local
DL
x3- 135, 155, 185, 205, 225, 245.
was really, REALLY happy to get the reps at 245, all weak things considered. mebbe i couldve done more, mebbe not, but tonight wasnt the night to push it.
lying leg curl 3x10 @ 50lbs
walking on tmill- 6% incline @ 3.0mph for 10 min.
ankle didnt feel awful this time, but still not perfect. its a lil swollen when i looked at it this morning, but im not sure if thats STILL there, or there AGAIN.
so, i’ll keep an eye on it. i’m not above calling mike cryin for help.
shouldve done that in the first place. d’oh!
Nice DLs. x3 at 245 after all those other reps looks very good to me. I hear you about kids–they say the funniest shit and thus are often the most fun to be around. At Christmas eve dinner, my children (upon trying shepherd’s pie for the first time) remarked on the fortutity of not having taste buds on their butts. Certainly, not everyone appreciates such candor or such conversation at the dinner table, but I found their observations perceptive and funny.
I’d say its about time to cry for help. Its been a long while since the sprain.
Hell yeah on the deadlifts!
3x245…I need to step my game ![]()
I’m with you on having more fun with the kiddos. After 8 yrs the adults have gotten used to it. I usually say my polite hellos to all and then sit down for some coloring, or this year it was paper doll fairies.
Nadia - taste buds on your butt… priceless…

Lots of fun stuff. I have a lot like this.
yes. i showed up with 500 waterballoons.
i had as much fun as they did. worst part was waiting for me to fill up all the buckets!
Just had to stop in and see if you’re still young, in love, and lifting.
Good to see all three are still true.
