Left On Broadway

I’ll go with one of each for the WTF factor.

hoosier- haha! i used to do that when i had green ones. happened by necessity the first time… lost one and had a spare contact lens with me that was clear, so i walked around with one blue and one green eye all day. was kinda interesting. not exactly what im into now, though.

and tbh, bc each eye is now a different rx, i’d hafta get 4 boxes instead of two. that hurts my wallet just thinking abt it.

yo bitches, guess who just ate a WHOLE, DOUBLE CHICKEN, DOUBLE WRAPPED BURRITO?!

it was MEEEEEE!!!

yeah for hungreez!

votin’ for grey here.

and givin some dexterlove.

e votes- three for grey, two for brown

text submissions- Galileo says grey, one of the girls from work says grey

nothing via email or from school yet. jason is still considering.

between getting up early tuesday, staying up late, drinking, and having to do school all day yesterday, my head/neck is hurting enough to make me consider a cervical collar just so i dont hafta move it. I’ve loaded up on IBU, and yesterday I ditched the contacts and went with glasses for the second half to see if that would help. full belly and lotsa water last night.

oh i wont quit, i’ll just take better drugs. hate wasting em if im not REALLY miserable, this is more annoyed atm.

n- that cat lookin at that cake all crazylike is prolly the expression i had on my face while they were making my burrito.

deja- your vote is appreciated! remember, its your right and your responsibility!!

I’d go with grey, but brown would give you a more different look.

we’re so freakin adorable.

i must admit i have a tuxedo shirt fetish.

i’ve been wanting this volcom hoody but can never find it anywhere.

damn link! let me clutter up ur log summoooore.

honestly honey-brown = warm and friendly.

grey = witchy.

I vote for grey.

goes back to staring at ass and dreamin of cupcakes

God I want a chicken burrito right now. Alas.

If grey = witchy, can I vote twice?

ugh, i know, someone needs to kick some sense into me.

no lifting today, housework, work from 2-6, and dinner with my bro.

no really, i know. still need kicked tho.

CBear,

After reviewing the pic, grey would be better. Given your personality (based upon your words), grey fits you like a glove. And it’s hotter.

deja- next time u see someone wearing your tuxedo hoodie, beat them up and reclaim it. its definitely yours.

n- im leaning toward grey also. i’ll order em when i can talk the part of me that holds my wallet into letting go for a moment.

kimba- hahahaha! yes you can vote twice!

beat- thanks for stoppin by! my online personality is much like my IRL personality. I like to think the IRL is better, as my efriends miss out on the netlike aura which which i draw people in and begin administering my voodoo, making them my followers FOREVER!

on a more serious, non training related note (it wont last forever i promise)

my mother and i had a conversation the other night about Christmas. I’m not particularly religious (the regs know this) but i enjoy all of the family and craziness that happens around the holidays. I even get caught up in some of the cinnamon/pine/rosiness that happens.

but she asked me what i want for a present. I will not ask for money to spend on drugs and tattoos. after that, i have everything i need and everything i want. shes frustrated bc she wants me to open something that morning and for me to feel like a part of the fam when theyre opening presents. i tried explaining that

  1. whether or not i feel like a member of the family has nothing to do with presents

  2. I will be grateful for and appreciate whatever it is that i happen to open, but really cant even pick a store that she could give me a giftcard to.

but she just couldnt understand it. she wants to give me something, but she doesnt approve of the 3 things i would use money toward. (i put aveda in there as a last resort and she doesnt recognize the expense vs the sensibility of suave)

even now, sitting around my apartnemt, i have all of the kitchen cookery i could want/use/store, i have printed books ive yet to read, a closet full of clothes (that i need to hang), and a full enough refrigerator.

so, i’ll sit around and bask in my good fortune for a few min before i go to bed. the one covered in blankets and pillows, next to a warm radiator.

Ugh I have the same thing - I live in a tiny flat with nowhere to put stuff so generally I just ask for posh chocolates or scented candles, since I know I’ll consume them one way or another.

I’ve asked my Mum for some of her home-made cookies in a tin. Also woolen socks, scarf and mittens. I always lose mine somewhere. A bottle of wine is always a win with me. But honestly, as the new generation is being born I tell my parents to gift the children and prep a nice home-cooked meal for the big kids.

cal- I’ll hafta think of something simple that i can let her know about. no need for either one of us to spend too much time thinking about it. I liked where it lead me tho.

my 4 brothers and sisters, our inlaws, and cousins stopped getting each other gifts about 5 years ago. it had turned into passing around a $20 bill. Ok maybe not literally but there were too many people you cared about that you had to buy for and all we really wanted was to get together.

so we make sure my nieces, nephews, and (what the hell do i call my cousins children?) others all have a lovely holiday while we go through a lot of food, drink, and tobacco.

its a beautiful, sunny, cloudless day. just cool enough to think about calling it crisp.

I think I’ll put some weights in my school bag and take the dog for a walk.

sounds like a great plan

Do what we do in my husband’s family…shop for the adults’ presents at the liquor store. A nice bottle of wine, scotch, vodka, gin etc. never goes amiss (except for if someone is AA and you’d know that, right?)
