First- I’m getting really, really frustrated with the multiple hour delay between submitting and seeing my posts. It’s been a long time and i’ve been good. what gives?

owlie- EEEEEEEE!! I’m glad i can make someone else as nerdy and excited as i am! when i pulled 315 for the first time i ran around the gym making everyone watch again on my camera and i’m sure it was annoying as hell. After the triple i was so stoned with all the stuffs that happen (endorphins, adrenaline, whatevs) I just stood there and smiled like an idiot. (doin it again now, akshually)
bg- last year and this year both ive been able to bear weight straight up and down, and have pain free ROM (pushing it is still achey/sharpish). I worry abt the squats bc i rolled it (outward, inward?) with the bottom of my foot facing in. so i guess inward? and thats the way i push when i squat… so imma be supercareful.
you can tell me anytime that i look nom. i’d like it better if you showed me.

shock and amaze i was there by 920!!
not sure what to call what we did today, but it was todd’s idea so, there’s that.
benched triples to a set of wooded boxes under the plates on each side, so it was like a floor press/board press, kinda. ROM left about an inch or so before the bar hit my chest, maybe less, and it came to a dead stop for a wee smidge before i pressed.
worked up to 185x3. very, very happy with this.
then some random accessory work-
lat pulldowns with the fat double D handle- 2 plates x 15, 12, 10, 10.
tricep pushdowns- ridiculously high rep. 2 sets. couldnt tell ya the weight.
standing oh press with a neutral grip on some machine thingy- few sets of 10. 3 or 4.
i neglected to do abs. i didn’t feel like it.
I’m wondering if i can sneak into the warmup room @ the proam and get a light lifting sesh in.

I’m gonna bring my stuff just in case a spot opened up. if not, i’ll help Molly E as much as i can, and hang out with people and generally be awesome.

when i got to EFS my DL was the last thing they worked on… and it was the first thing jason commented on, way back when, when we first started talking…

the 2 biggest things ive had to correct are pulling the slack out of the bar before i start to pull, and keep my ass down. that day was a day that it went alright, and its really the only thing i think about when im pulling. ass down, pull back. ass down, pull back.
3rd rep didnt look as shitty as it felt, but hell. i’ll still take it.

tried to find a couple meets closeish. theyre all too far or have other priorities… jasons son’s birthday is on the 27th and a meet in OH is on the 28th.
so i leave the boy to go the meet, and end up disappointing the boy bc i left and disappointing me bc i didn’t prepare adequately with the drive and doin it by myself. nobody’s happy there.
so im gonna hate the giving up part… for now.
theres an spf meet on december 4th in cincinatti.
its the day im sposed to graduate (I think) and it seems a perfect transition type situation. miss the ceremony bullshit for the shit i really want to do.
and a really good excuse to have the PW in town.

spitters are for quitters, but playing with injuries is tough. I dropped out of the AWPC Worlds. was only an alternate, but heard some guys couldn’t make it, so was going to lift. sounds like you would have more fun at the B-Day party anyways, instead of maybe really fucking up the ankle, or more.

there’s a time warp on my way to class this week so far. yesterday and today both i left way early, and still got here late. grrrr.
today, though, i got mah hairz cut!! nothing too drastic, took about 3 inches off. still very long. and today its very straight… no way would i spend that much time for straight hair on a regular basis. UGH! but its pretty so i’ll roll with it. ![]()

i cheat and go knees bent instead of knees straight. :-/
hold a chin (underhand, chin above bar) and use a 20lb db for sets of 10.
