Thanks c.! Took forever to figure how to transfer stuff from my phone. I’m supposed to be good at technical stuff.
I think I am over the “hump” where I couldn’t get 60lbs up no matter what. The weight was feeling really good this week, so I hope that I can start upping it weekly now. I came into OL with pretty good endurance for cardio stuff, I cycle from the time the snow melts until it starts again, but adding weight to it is another story. Beta-7 helps a lot.
I hope you are over the worst of that flu, seems like the US has a real bad case of it this year.

Yes, we have bumpers but they start at 40kg…I’m not there yet! A+ for the pics, I’ll be watching for them.

These super sets are HARD, but they will help build up endurance. I have to go 3 days in a row this week because of deadlines keeping me at home on Monday. I’m not sore like last week, but I’m feeling it for sure. OL tommorow…

Sometimes I feel like it’s going good, other times blah, I dunno. I want to get stronger, I want to lose a bit more fat and the 2 seem to contradict each other. I have to get more disciplined with food I guess. Since I finally have a starting date for my job, I’ll have to plan meals better so that will help. I’m not eating enough protein (close but missing about 20g a day) and probably too much carbs. But strength is going good and I have definitely made progress with putting on muscle. I guess I’m just in one of those moods…
While I’m here, I’ll post up my OL training.

Here’s where the strength comes in. It was all easy today. Eric wants some Beta-7 now, I keep praising the results. He trains a pro football player (CFL) who is taking it and is also having good results, so now he believes me.
Power Snatch 5 setsx6 with big bar 60lbs
Squat/Drop/Clean 5 setsx6 with big bar 65lbs
Split Clean/Split Jerk 5 setsx6 with big bar 70lbs
Squat Jerk 5 setsx6 with big bar bar 45lbs
I have now officially graduated to using the men’s bar. This is something I never thought I’d be able to do.
30 mins elliptical random hills 5km
I was sore going into this and felt great coming out. All the pain of the last 2 weeks is gone YAY!

Felt pretty good, the elbow hurt some, but not too bad. I did a machine press instead of front raises due to the elbow. Actually, the machine was good and it didn’t hurt so I am switching this up for now.

Did the whole thing 4 times and passed 30 minutes elliptical. Plus housecleaning.
If I have some money left after the big Biotest sale, I am going to hire one of the physio trainers at the gym to give me a good mobility warm up and some shoulder training to avoid injury. Something I can do at home that is not so half assed. I’m never sure if I’m doing the right things. I’m scared to injure my shoulders, that will put me right out of OL and I’m really getting into it more lately. I’m chasing down one of the girls who has been at it for 18 months and is pretty damn good. I want to get up to her level. There is also a fitness competitor who is training OL right before me, I blew her away this week. She wants my shoes.

It’s HUGE for me because I struggled with it so much at the beginning, like almost crying struggling. We don’t have a women’s competition bar, just a shorter 35lb bar that I was using. Actually there is a women’s bar, under lock and key. It belongs to a PT and she paid $800 for it. I have to suck up and get privileges.

I found out the other day, I’m NOT on the list for the key to the room with the cool toys, ie. sledge hammer, kettle balls etc. But I’m also NOT sucking up to this guy ![]()

Of course I watched the powerlifting…CRAZY! I watched poor Jeff (I think that was his name…500lb guy) fall during his 900lb squat yikes! Hope he is okay. Was the arnolds a national meet? Did lifters have to qualify to be there…I can see now why you guys love powerlifting so much…its very cool!
