Uh , the guy in you’re avatar was known for symmetry NOT SIZE. That was my point. Zane was not a bodybuilder that was trying to be the biggest, freakiest thing on stage. He was smaller than most he competed against. So in case YOU missed it- the goal for bodybuilders isn’t always to be as big as possible.

There are more goals to this than size. Go back and continue doing your benches, curls and drinking weight gainers. Said one moron, to the other, to the other!

Yes, because Frank Zane was very small. Tiny, anorexic even.

Come back to me when you’re even close to a ripped 180lbs. Hell, even the OP has said he wants MORE MASS.
Like I said he reached a point where mass building no longer his goal. OWNED!!!

you’re an ill-informed dumb ass- everyone DOES NOT want to be a heavy weight body builder. Nuff said, and before you comment on what i’ve achieved get some pics up of youself. all i see in your avatar is some dumb ass broad!

Said one moron to the other. If you don’t want to be a bodybuilder, then fuck off kindly. This is a bodybuilding website in case you missed it.

You can’t have symmetry without size, and you can’t achieve symmetry without adding muscle mass to certain bodyparts. Dumbass.

uh dumbass, you can’t read. once a bodybuilder achieves the size he wants and is looking to get cut and create symmetry. THERE COMES A TIME WHEN SIZE IS NOT THE GOAL! get a clue. The last time I checked bodybuilding had weight classes. go shoot up.
ahh you ignorant prick, how can you achieve symmetry without adding muscle to different areas of your body. What you just described is a sedentary old man in a retiree home. You can cut, but if you don’t have the muscle you’re not going to be symetrical.

Anyways you have to be the first person that bodybuilds arguing that bodybuilder are not interested in adding size. ALL bodybuilders are interested in size at one point or another and are ALWAYS striving for improvements in size which leads to symmetry. my mind is rattled at how retarded you are.

I’ll make one last point, and maybe I’ve been being harsh today, but I’m angry, hungry, and tired.

All serious bodybuilders strive for improvements and those improvements come from increased muscle mass.

Op I’m sorry for the hijack it was rude and I apologize you have a pretty shredded physique and I commend you on that.

I am in no way trying to be a smart ass, but your profile says that you have been training for 20 years. What made you want to add mass now? Just curious.

As for everyone else, way to shit all over this guys thread. Even when someone posts a picture and doesn’t get flamed themselves it still turns into a “I’m a more badass keyboard lifter than you are.”

Well It’s true I started lifting about 20 yrs ago but when I started, I looked like Gondi on a diet (major embarrased pencil neck). And for the first 5 years I made some gains but was not really eating or lifting right (I did not know at the time). Then it was on & off for a number of years & then back to lifting but still overtrained & too high of volume & reps so not the right progress. Just over the past 4 years have I found what works. But I’ve ALWAYS wanted more MASS!!! When you’re a pencil neck as a kid you have a mission to get outa that body. And I don’t feel like those dudes sh!t all over my thread. Just happy to get a few good comments:) Thanks.

Have you managed yo get more pics uploaded? From your avatar, you physique is already very impressive. You’ve come to the right site if your goal is more mass.
