I’ve gotta agree.

So, I’m supposed to sprint full speed and then just intentionally face plant all 270 pounds of me into the ground?

That sounds more like a Jackass stunt than exercise.[/quote]

Bauer, dont be a pussy… take one for the team, do it, and get it on tape. Then post it here for all to see. Extra points if your wife is there standing pointing and laughing at you on the ground.

Should I have her in cut-off shorts and a bikini top too?

I would, except she knows better than to point and laugh at me.

She may point, or laugh, but never together.

You deccelerate some, obviously… enough that you don’t hurt yourself going down. You just don’t slow down, come to a stop, and then squat down.

I wasn’t recommending this assuming that most people reading it weigh 270, since, well… most people don’t weigh 270.

Agreed. I’ll stick with burpees. Besides, the guards might think I’m making a break for it!

[sarcasm] There’s another one where you start 20 yards from a brick wall. Run as fast as you can and dive head first into the bricks. Get up and jog or fast walk back to the starting point and repeat.

Do this for 20 minutes before beginning your cool down. And no helmets Bauer. This will really toughen you up.[/sarcasm]

You all want a good conditioning w/o. get a 15 foot extension ladder set that damn thing up, throw a weighted vest on or back pack with a load in it and proceed to climb up and down that thing for 30-45 min no stopping. As the legs get tired you’ll pull more etc.

Have fun,
Phill
