Law Class Grade

I don’t think you need to go this far to justify yourself. It’s very common for college students to assess the situation and decide they don’t need to attend certain classes.

My brother was one and he wasn’t “arrogant or slothful”. He was disciplined enough to study the course material and show up for the midterms and finals. I lacked that discipline and wasn’t as smart as my brother so I never missed a single class in 5 years of college except, like dChris, when traveling as an athlete. It helped that I never got sick. (I actually went from 15 years old to 30 without ever getting anything more than a nuisance cold)

for the guys in here that are college professors, he is referring to impersonating another student and thats why he reserves the right to award an F correct? Just because it was listed under academic dishonesty

The @EyeDentist said it best

:S Only your professor can clarify this.

This reminds me of a 2 unit health science course I took. Just one unexcused absence dropped your final grade by two. In other words, an A became a C and a B became a D.

At the start of each class we all had to file up front and check ourselves in. One time I got lazy and asked a girl I sat next to to check me in. I think it was an honest mistake on her part but I didn’t get properly checked in. No problem, I did the extra assignment required for making up the missed class and slid it under the instructors office door (as we were instructed).

I knew I had the highest score in the class going into the final and I was confident I aced the final so you can imagine my surprise when I got my grade and it was a C.

When I got my report card in the mail, the instructor was already biking Europe and I left for 4-year college before he got back. This happened to be in junior college. It still bugs me I didn’t get the A I deserved.

I once got an 89.87% final grade in accounting. On the final, which was comprehensive, I got a 98%. My final grade, a ‘B’. Man I was pissed. An appeal got me nowhere.

Manuel, that was hilarious, why delete?

In a statistics class I fell just short of being exempt from the final. I can’t remembers the exact numbers but the way it worked out was if I got an A or a B on the final, I would get an A in the class, anything else I would get a B.

The final fell on a Friday, the last day of finals…
For the whole school year…
I lived in the dorms…

You can probably see how this is setting up. Add to that I had prioritized studying for biochem and some other class that were legitimately kicking my ass so that one night was all I had to prepare for the statistics final.

While the entire dorm population was rioting, On Edge was not sleeping and didn’t get shit for studying done. My suite mates who lived with me for the previous 9 months somehow managed to not learn what a hot head I am, they probably never even realized how close they all came to dying that night. They managed to survive while I managed to stay out of jail but I got a D on that final.

If I had just scored a tiny bit higher going into the final I could have been out partying that night and had my A.

Deleting was a corporate reflex.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
