You know, before I really started reading this site, I was hell bent against steroids and thought you guys were idiots.

However, after a few months of reading and actually opening up my mind about it, I gotta say it actually sinks in and while I will probably never try it, the mindset in this country on this issue and the legality definitely needs some attention.

Same here.

How do you lose that much muscle in 2 months just by stopping the use of steroids?
Fake.

Looking at those pics, the background is different and the body structure seems to be slightly different. It is impossible to lose that much muscle mass and put on that much fat in only 2 months.
And i see no acne in the first pic of the bodybuilding steroid thing. He just looks flushed because he’s forcing and he’s very tanned.

It is beyond me how society will take young girls and force feed them birth control pills, and at the same time vilify consenting adult males for for seeking out hormone therapy that has been proven to be considerably safer than “the pill”.

I knew the pill was bad, but just how unsafe are we talking?

Very. Blood clots, risk of stroke, messes up sex drive etc.

The pill is evil.

How does it mess up sex drive?

A couple of ways really. Directly, as in it alters hormone levels, reducing libido. Or indirectly, by causing weight gain and bloating, leading to feelings of ‘unsexiness’ and hence loss of desire (in some women).

That is definitely not true for all women on the pill, though.

That is true.

However, what is true today can be the other way around in a few months or years. Bottom line is “the pill” is a dose of estrogen, pure and simple. Estrogen is NOT the hormone that fuels libido…in women or men.

Guaran-double-damn-tee you that a college aged female on the pill now may very well feel altogether different 10 years from now when she is in her thirties and all that extra E has been coursing through her veins for over a decade.

Betcha?
Betcha? Okay then. Now, you may have fucked every girl under the sun and they told you this or that with regards to the pill, but forgive me If I don’t take the word of your cunt’s for gospel. I have been on the pill off and on for many years, through ‘college’ and otherwise all the way up until year 34. I have not lost my interest in sex. I am living proof against what you are trying to prove. All your years of sucking and fucking don’t qualify you for shit. Other than to shut the fuck up. You can fuck as many women as you want, it doesn’t get you any closer to understanding what you are talking about.

All. Just think how much better her sex drive would be without the pill

Her? Don’t you mean your?

The hormones you guys take cause weight gain and bloating too, and from what I’ve seen that doesn’t seem to affect much. I’ve yet to hear “Not tonight honey, I just feel so bloated and gross”. Why should it be any different for the ladies?

Sorry, what hormones do we take that cause bloating?

If you mean test or steroids, then no they don’t except by converting to estrogen.

Bushy
Also, testosterone increases the libido in women as well. Estrogen should really not be getting the love fest it gets from most of society.

Bushy, you’ll have to forgive me. My understanding of AAS is limited. I was under the impression that water retention is a relatively common concern. The how or the why was never clear to me. I tend to get lost with all of the big words and acronyms

Estrogen love fest?? lol
That’s exactly what it is. I guarantee, if Oprah came out on one of her shows and simply yelled out, “ESTROGEN!!!”, she would get a round of applause if not a standing ovation. I bet if she came out and yelled out, “TESTOSTERONE!!!”, she would get a series of boos and gasps.

The estrogen and progesterone in the birth control pill block testosterone production in the ovaries and increase the production in the liver of sex hormone binding globulin, a protein that attaches to much of the free testosterone in the blood, rendering it inactive.

That’s why the pill is prescribed to women with PCOS and high T-levels, to inhibit the androgenizing effects on her body.
