I knew the pill was bad, but just how unsafe are we talking?

Very. Blood clots, risk of stroke, messes up sex drive etc.

The pill is evil.

Any alternatives to “the pill”? Besides condoms ofcourse.

The prevailing argument today is that pre-ejaculate does not in and of itself contain sperm. However, left over sperm from a recent ejaculation can remain in the urethra, and can later get mixed in with the pre-ejaculation, but urination will typically clear out any left over semen after ejaculating.

Only sailors use condoms.

My sister had a blood clot in her leg they attributed to the pill. A female friend of mine had a mild stroke a few months ago. I am not sure if the pill was implicated or not.

I hope my daughters stay off the pill. It doesn’t protect from STDs anyway.

A couple of ways really. Directly, as in it alters hormone levels, reducing libido. Or indirectly, by causing weight gain and bloating, leading to feelings of ‘unsexiness’ and hence loss of desire (in some women).
That is definitely not true for all women on the pill, though.

That is true.

However, what is true today can be the other way around in a few months or years. Bottom line is “the pill” is a dose of estrogen, pure and simple. Estrogen is NOT the hormone that fuels libido…in women or men.

Guaran-double-damn-tee you that a college aged female on the pill now may very well feel altogether different 10 years from now when she is in her thirties and all that extra E has been coursing through her veins for over a decade.

Betcha?
Makes sense.

That certainly does make sense. I, for one, am not planning on finding out what a decade of extra estrogen will do to my body. Hopefully, 10 years from now I’ll be in a situation where a more permanent, non hormonal form of birth control can be used.

Tubes tied? That’s about as permanent and non-hormonal as it gets.

If your smegma is mixed with sperm then you have leaky valves and need to be retired out of the gene pool for being defective. So your type should not be having sex – so stop.
