Necrotic tissue peeling off of your chest is not a side effect of steroids.

It is a side effect of stupidity.

Even in the worst case scenario, I’d have to lean towards poor hygene being a major culprit in this dudes case.

Agreed, If I were him, I would learn to take a bath and get a second opinion. For the record, those weren’t “scars”. They were “SCABS” which means he was probably picking at them as well and they became infected.

They didn’t look anything like that in the before picture when he was actually ON steroids. For someone to put the blame on steroids as the cause as if his poor hygiene wasn’t the primary factor is just bad science and bad journalism.

It’s like people don’t even care about truth anymore. Whatever the hot topic is, they will publicize any small aspect of it until they run it into the ground. [/quote]

pretty much. take the (most likey, for the sake of argument) true story where the kid developed some kind of scabbing/blistering from god knows what, maybe an infected bed or gym bench.

bring that to your chief editor down at the local paper and hes gonna say fuck the documentation the kid was taking steroids, put the steroid spin on it because we’ll get 10x the readers because steroids are a controversial hot topic.

no one cares about honesty or even finding a legitimate true story. its not just in journalism its in everything. nothing is honest because honest never wins. and we buy into it everytime. i mean god damn look at who the president is and that says it all. fuck big-business.

I don’t really understand where all this hate for the pill is coming from. Is it just because it is a legal steroid, and women are allowed to take “their hormone” but you guys can’t??

Because if it’s just because of all the potential negative side effects (yes, there are many) and our health, you should probably be concerned with other perscription drugs as well.

Now, I don’t have a problem with intelligent AAS use. But if you take one look at the steroid forum, with all the “how does my first cycle look?” threads, its obvious that a lot of guys have no clue what they are doing.

Maybe I’m wrong, but with a typical cycle, you’ll be taking multiple compounds (and its up to you to figure out which ones, how much, how often and for how long) and have to worry about injecting properly, combatting side effects and post cycle therapy. That sounds a lot more complicated than taking one pill at the same time every day.

Women are only fertile during a very short time window. That + condoms should do the trick, no vaginal intercourse on a few days per month though…

ASS are illegal because of the high potential of addiction and the damage it would do to society.

It has nothing to do with some crazy anti-masculine conspiracy theories, just the fact that most people who would be willing to use ASS are not able to do it “intelligently” (and i am not talking about overdosing or severe side-effects), just imagine ten to thirty (or whatever) percent of the male population aged 15 to 45 doing nothing else but try to get money for their next cycle. This is the scenario you try to prevent by prohibiting uncontrolled use of ASS.

There is a birth control patch, and a vaginal ring, both of which still contain the same hormones as the oral pill, just the delivery system is easier on the liver.

Barrier methods like, IUD’s, cervical caps and diaphragms.

And finally, tubal ligations.

Gee, it sure is wonderful to be a woman.

That’s an alternative that is about as likely as monkeys flying out of your ass.

Good point. I love the pill.

(Haven’t we discussed this before?)

What a great argument…for legalizing anabolic use under a physician’s supervision just like birth control pills.

People don’t know what they are doing…which is why we need to stop causing more clueless users to get their stash from blackmarket underground labs when they could be getting them from a clinic.

The “War on Drugs” wins again?

That doesn’t even get into how there could be “just a pill” for guys if science wasn’t stifled because of the illegality and stigma attached.

I don’t know if I’d say that I love the pill. I only started taking it because I wanted to get hyoooge (boobs, that is) and it didn’t work. Maybe my training and diet are off…

Yes, I believe we have. The pill, along with how stupid people are for using methods like pulling out or not having sex when she’s fertile.

And, on top of the list of options Yo Momma gave, there are also types of “male birth control”

Pretty much ALL (straight) males do nothing else but save up for their next cycle of ASS.

What’s your point???

Yeah…like TESTOSTERONE.

Exactly. Or to be less subtle, ass is physically addictive, but AAS is not. Do some research.

You might argue psychological addictive properties based on dysmorphic self-image, but not physical. Otherwise everyone with a Y-chromosome is a junky.
