Its all about electronic industrail music.
Suicide Commando: Bind, Torture, Kill
Play it at full blast.
If that doesnt increase your deadlift by 50lbs, nothing will. ![]()

Pantera is a close second…

I just downloaded the Vader music from Star Wars done by Metallica. Good warm up music.
I wonder what chicks at the gym would think if they knew I was staring at their tits and listening to hateful death metal like Pro-Pain or Carcass.
Pro-Pain definitely not death metal but an awesome band nevertheless.
Agreed
Anything from american idol or just plain ol’ pop music gets me fired up as shit. The fact that it’s so bad and people get sucked into that shit pisses me off and therefore gets me fired up.
I was rockin some Neuraxis- “Trilateral Progression” last night.
Ok…I am little older, but Ted Nugent’s Motor City Madhouse always gets me going. And recently I got lots of Joe Satriani playing. The guy totally shreds.
Audio Slave is one of the newer groups I dig.
Since I grew up in the late 60’s early 70’s, Led Zep, The Who, Stones, etc. are my staples.
Anything loud and heavy.
When I was much younger, I used to listen to country while lifting (okay, stop laughing now.) After falling asleep and dropping the bar on my chest a few times, I finally grew out of it. Pantera and old metallica are some of the best. Throw in some Slayer, Trivium, Shadows fall, and Mudvayne and I’m good to go.
One of my favs is a local band called Dead Season. If you like metal, check these guys out.
For those that have mentioned Rage against the machine, check out Stanford Prison Experiment. They thanked each other on their first albums. The self titled and The Gato Hunch are unbelievable. The guitarist is as good as Morello but they have a different feel. More like Rages first with a different spin. More hardcore less rap. I miss seeing them perform. They were unbelievable.
Other than that, not metal but seriously great are Death From Above 1979 (my avatar) they broke up but their CD and EP are amazing. Check them out…
Other than that…
Tool
Motorhead
Pantera
NIN
Manson
Megadeth
Metallica
Rocket from the Crypt
Hot Snakes
The Sultans
Rollins
X
Kyuss
Queens of the Stone Age
Mondo Generator

Fu Manchu
Alice In Chains

yer and really fast paced, bassy, drum and bass
when i am working out i like either some hard metal or hardcore like madball, death before dishonor, cro-mags, blood for blood etc.

Seriously though check out the devil wears prada (if you like any metal at all)
they are sick
I like TDWP, but they have too many slow interludes for me to lift to. Killwhitneydead, on the other hand, has some awesome, short songs, with the sickest breaks ever for heavy triples, etc. Check out the song “If it ain’t Johnny Cash, it ain’t country”- SICK breakdown.
I couldn’t help but notice on the left hand side of the screen this music falls in the Christian category. Hardcore / Metal / Christian
Are these guys Christian? It’s all good if they are.
I think they are. If you want some super sick Xtian metal, check out Underneath the Gun. Br00tal.
I don’t think anyone’s mentioned SPINESHANK! (If it breathes…choke it)
Also, trying not to duplicate other posters, but here’s a brief list of the ones I think we’re missing here:

Calm Like A Bomb - RATM
Sacrifice - Insyderz (excellent song)
Freedom - RATM
Du Hast - Rammstein
