why can’t I have huge arms, and HAIR, and a cool tattoo, and you NOTHING???
lol…well you can easily get the tat. you can also get the hair if you’re willing to shell out the $. and if you have the genetics, there’s no reason you can gets the guns too. as for the me getting NOTHING part, i can’t help you there!
Has anyone else commented that your forearms look as thick as your bicep? That’s the first thing I noticed, amazing look like tree trunks. What type of forearm exercises do you use? If you say none you’re officially an ass.
Great job, huge inspiration that age doesn’t mean squat.

In all seriousness, are those REALLY ‘bad’ insertions? They look better than half of the people’s I see at the gym!!
And great work man! I totally want to have a physique like yours one day!
His insertion is just fine.
He has no control over that anyways, he has a pretty high insertion point hence the nice peak.
I have a very low insertion point, my biceps are large but they dont peak like that.
There has been much discussion on which is “better” I believe low insertion biceps are longer and can eventually get larger and therefor stronger, but they dont usually look as large or as nice due to lack of peak as a high insertion bicep, which looks like a baseball.
i’ve really never given any thought to my insertion points before starting this thread. i’ve always heard the comment - wow your bi’s look like baseballs. then you have guys with low insertions like lou ferrigno who’s bi’s look like footballs. i think both types of biceps look good. i always emphasize muscle shape as being the key factor to looking good.
and as for forearm work, i do it on and off. i built them up when i was younger so now just the gripping from my back workouts give them enough stimulation to keep them from shrinking. but i do favor db wrist curls over bb wrist curls. and i do hammers for bi’s so that helps too.

what do you do…or did you do for back width excersizes? your back is wicked wide
thx gom. in my early days, i did a lot of wide grip behind the neck pull ups, bb rows and t-bar rows. but since i nearly wrecked my lower back about 2 years ago, i can no longer do bb or t-bar rows. i also did something to my biceps tendon in my right arm which prevents me from doing most pulling movements with a pronated grip. so nowadays it’s mainly weighted pull ups with a close, partially suspinated grip, hammer strength rows, 1 arm db rows and rack deads. but i think my width is due mainly to genetics.
