I actually got a good deal. And my doc has recently restructured her fee scale, but it won’t apply to me since I was an existing patient. I paid $300 the first treatment, $150 the second, $80 the third and $50 for every additional treatment. I think I’ve gone 6-8 times. I have very dark hair, but I tend to tan easily. So I had to stop going in April as I began getting tan again. So I’ll most likely go back in the middle of winter when I’m not as tan. I never used the cream that Michelle is talking about, but the doc said she could write a prescription if I wanted it. I just took some pain killers before and after treatment and I was good to go. My back and shoulders would be extremely red (many red bumps), and I could definitely feel the heat from treatment. But after the first day, I was good to go. And yes, each treatment lasts a good 4-6 weeks before you have regrowth. That’s when you go back for another visit. It’s definitely worth it if you know someone who is skilled and will do it for a good price. I would never do my face! I always have facial hair and don’t mind shaving. I just can’t stand to see any hairs on my back and shoulders. Even if they are light and thin. I don’t want to see anything!
