I totally understand. I was doing ab wheels alternating with crunches for a time and it just got… boring.

I was looking at myself in the mirror though and randomly thought I need abs. Wouldn’t hurt anyway as in high rep squats, I know I fold over because my core gives out. A friend took a picture of my back too and there’s some muscle there. The front definitely lacks abs though…

Respected the weights today. Wanted to take out all the stress in the last few weeks on this squat session. Some pretty significant things happened. Was gonna do 295 for 8-10 but felt really unstable on the 265. Hamstrings were tight AF. Then again I just sat through my board exam. It was an 8 hour exam (9:40 with breaks). Barely got 3 hours of sleep for it too. Not a surprise everything felt tight. I already felt the 135 not move as fast as it usually does. So yeah, pushing the weights today wasn’t a bright idea. Decided to respect it and walk away before I pull a hamstring or whatever.

Decided to redo my 2nd 5/3/1 cycle with TMs based on post-C7 radiculopathy. I think I should be okay

So…I’ve been playing with the thought of lean bulking up to 80kg (i’m currently at 74kg) and then cutting back down to 75kg. I’m not sure what that’s gonna do for me though. Kinda want to look like lift for once specially upper body. Sports performance will still be more important to me… Any thoughts or advice?
