Interesting news to say the least, I was planning on getting my Yamaha R6 in the next month or so but apparently I’ll be spending everything i own to train at this place lol ::
Bas Rutten and Randy Couture have teamed up to open a new school that will serve as the official training center of the World Fighting Alliance (WFA).
Located in Hollywood, California, the “Legends” gym will provide classes for mma, boxing, Muay Thai, jiu jitsu, and general fitness.
Jason “Mayhem” Miller, and Karo Parisyan will join the two owners as mixed martial arts instructors. 10th planet Jiu Jitsu’s Eddie Bravo is listed as one of the jiu jitsu instructors.
For more information on the Legends Mixed Martial Arts Center visit the official site. Legendsmmadotcom
Or better yet, get the Yamaha R6 and use it to drive to the training center so you can use the carpool lane, weave in and out of traffic, AND get good gas mileage.

I’m kind of curious about these new “MMA training facilities.” We just had one open in Pittsburgh a few months ago and it is Caaaaraaaazy expensive. I don’t see too many people shelling out 200-300$ a month so they can become a cage fighter and travel across the states for a 300$ to show 200$ more to win contract. The logic there… escapes me.

That is alot of money. You eliminate most of the kids(who are not rich) and alot of the potential talent. You have only rich white people.
Alot of the best welterweight?lightweight?bantamweight mma talent(in Japan) fights in Shooto. Alot of these guys have part time jobs and make very little. They need cheap training. Open sessions are one way they get around it. Also they need guys who teach for the sake of teaching and not to get rich.
