Reinjured my leg today going for volume with 205, pretty frustrated but it happens. I stopped squatting after that and did sets of abs and cardio and then called it.
Obviously pushed too quickly after the first time. Going to limit squats, deadlifts, and good mornings to a maximum of 135 for a while so I can keep the movement patterns down while it returns to working order, probably around a month.
The injury feels like I’ve done some damage to my left glute-hamstring tie in connective tissue but I’m not knowledgeable enough about physiology to say anything for certain. I keep a pretty consistent routine of full body stretching so I’m thinking it’s from overuse.
