Kroc 14.5 Weeks Out

That’s bullshit, kroc should have won the overall. So what if the other guy was a little more conditioned. The back comparison alone should have been enough to put kroc over that guy. SAD

This guy beat Kroc?

LOL WUT!

This is actually something Iâ??ve been wanting to ask.

In overall judging, is it â??best physique winsâ??, or do the judges do some sort of handicap system for comparing across weight classes? Is there a wilks in BBing?

I was expecting this guy to be absolutely fucking peeled the way Kroc was going on about it.

Only if you can bench 600 in the smith machine.

Clearly obvious, greater conditioning than krocs…looked like Matt was still holding on to a lot in his legs…

edit:saw your other post… :)…Matt def had the thickness/width down just needs to get his conditioning dialed in and he’ll be straight eh

Glad to see Matt was able to bring his triceps up somewhat, they don’t look nearly as small as when he started.

Anybody want to post all the competitors pictures :stuck_out_tongue:

Kroc did great but you guys are harsh lol, I’m sure if the other guy posted here you’d all be saying how much he deserved to win. The other guy was more conditioned, and from just the shots above his arms look better. Kroc’s back was obviously much bigger.

I can, but you probably won’t count it because I use scrotum wraps.

But seriously, how does overall judging work?

The guys arms are not better, go look at the photos at any of the BBing websites. I don’t care how conditioned you are, it’s stupid that he should win when he doesn’t even have a back just b/c he has lines in his glutes.

DD, best physique wins. Conditioning, symmetry, proportions.

i agree!

Can someone fill me in as to the level of this competition, is it pro? is it just below the guys that go after the Arnold and Olympia? I am a complete novice when it comes to knowledge about the professional world of bodybuilding, but would love to learn more, any links would be greatly appreciated.

I know that there is a wealth of knowledge here, and would love to gain some insight.

It’s amateur. A regional show. Depending on the show 1 or more guys will qualify to enter the NPC nationals. NPC Nationals is one of the shows that guys compete for their pro card at.

Comparing pictures of Kroc and the guy who won… all I can say is Kroc has the right to feel disappointed. But not in himself.

Obviously you need more than just a rear bicep shot,… especially from a low angle, to adequately compare the physiques. As far as I know, there is no handicapping system, merely looking at the overall builds,… how much of a combination of size, conditioning, and aesthetics a competitor displays (and for that matter, how well they display it).

Thanks, that makes sense. How many shows are there per year that award a pro card? Do the bodybuilders that compete in the O and the Arnold have to qualify for a certain type of card, or do they just enter that category?

I don’t know the number of shows, but there’s only 1 “IFBB” pro card, you can win it in a number of weight classes, but when you step on an IFBB stage there is only 202 and Open classes, with the 202 being at a fewer amount of shows.
