Hi. Just looking for opinions on what to do after a hernia surgery where I’m supposed to avoid working out for 6 weeks. I’m currently blasting, and am debating whether I should cruise after surgery, or stay on the blast to try to minimize muscle loss.
Unless you are super muscled, you’re not going to lose any actual muscle by not lifting weights for 6 weeks, with or without blasting AAS. Your may look less full, but that’s not muscle loss. If it were me, I would dial the dose back if I couldnt’ workout as hard, but you’re probably fine either way
I had a small hernia above my naval. Though your core needs to not be under load or use, there are many isolation exercises for arms, forearms, and calves you could do as soon as it doesn’t hurt getting in and out of bed. That is what I did after a week, or so, but I sure didn’t “waste” any AAS during that period.
