desidratado com 77kg na pesagem. Obrigado a todos que apoiaram esse sonho. Valeu galera.

Dehydrated with 170lbs on the weigh-ins.

Thanks to all who supported me on this dream.

Thanks guys.

I’ll post later how the fight went, try to find a video, give the result and some thoughts.

stare-down

measuring the distance and evading a low-kick

putting pressure to put his back to the cage.

working the clinch to go for the take-down

lost by medical interruption due to a fractured nose, got in the bad end in an exchange.

1st round

Controlled the distance, connected with a strong low kick and some straights that made him walk backwards to the cage, then took him down and he fell sort of seated, went for the mount and looked for the guillotine, but he was able too wall-walk and get a hold of my arm.

He connected with a good hook that left my face’s right side swollen in the end of the first round.

2nd round

He started avoiding the clinch work and started to roll out from his back to cage, i took a big knee to the solar plexus while working for the clinch.

In the middle of the second round i end up getting sloopy on the exchange, connected with some overhand lefts, some straights but in the middle of the exchange he connected with a straight right that busted up my nose for good.

The referee decided to stop the fight due the severity of the fracture.

It was so close to end of the round =(

I went to the hospital thinking it was nothing serious but i discovered that i made 7 fractures on the nose, spent the night on the hospital and made surgery on the morning.

I still haven’t got the post fight pictures, my nose looks like a banana lol.

Thanks to everyone who supported me on this dream. It was close, but i learnt a lot, this time i didn’t gassed out, entered the fight pretty calm, didn’t have jitters, slept very well. It was a definite improvement from the last fight.

I count with your cheering on the next one!

Thats to bad man, but still you actually did the fight, nobody can take that away from you.
Great job man  and are still hoping to see it on film.

btw: How was it to be in the ring?

really good, even though i hadn’t fought in like 15 months, i felt pretty good. It was my first time in the cage, so i had to work a little different than normally i do with the ring.

But it was an awesome ride, despite the injury, and i’m hooked to improve and do it again.

Pity about the loss but these things happen.

Well done for putting in the training and making the weight. ANd for getting in the cage to fight. Not many people can say they done that!

You’ll learn from this and be even stronger the next time.
