Just Got Into the Gym

I just turned 14 today and i’m finally allowed gym access (FUCK YEA) and i was wondering if one of you guys could help me putting together a routine or finding an article basically im looking for something that will enhance my athelticism and total body strength.

my current routine was hampered by the fact that i didn’t have any weights (few dumbells) but i tried to work with what i had.

basically i followed an A , B split

A
db Squat(or a variaton)
db bench press
db rowing
reverse db rows
weighted push ups

B
db deadlifts (or variation)
dips
chins
db military press
pullups

O and im 6ft 167 pounds
i think 11% bf

and i take in about 2900 calories maitenence (friggin soccer/football)

Actually that looks pretty good. I’d eat more though.

yea thanks alot i plan on switching alot of the stuff to barbells though how much more like

3500 ?4000

Try 3500 for a while, if you need more, go to 4000.

i also thought about adding an oly in before each workout

for example

monday A-snatch

wednesday B- high pull

friday A- Clean and jerk

or would that be too much

Yes, if you’re 14 and just starting to go to the gym, you better have someone with you who knows what he’s doing if you’re going to start on olympic lifts.
